Our trip to Formosa ~ Taiwan Day#1

Finally, the day has come. Kelvin has been doing his countdown since mid of Oct, and when he get to know that we are flying off to Taiwan in the next few days, he was super excited. Everyday when he sees aeroplane, he will tell me very soon he will sit in Cathay Pacific and fly to Taiwan.

Since our flight is at 7:50am, so we need to get to the airport latest by 630am. The night before, i told both kids that we will need to wake up around 530am because the cab will come to pick us up around 610am. Both kids happily go to their dreamland.The next morning, as soon as my alarm clock ring at 5am, before i can wake up from the bed, my little girl already wake up and she sit up and tell me that she wants to accompany for breakfast preparing. Due to time consuming, i don't negotiate more with her, so happily brought her down and cook oats for everyone. Time pass so fast and it's already 545am, the lil boy of mine still in his sweet dream. Wake him up, change for him, and oops, the cab driver has arrived. Quickly load everything into the cab and vroom...here we go to the airport. Along the way, received phone call from the tour agent, as seems like we are the last group of people arriving the airport.

As soon as we reach the departure area, i can see my dad and the tour agent standing outside waiting for us. We proceed for check in, bla bla bla..and had a hot drink at McDonalds, and headed to the immigration as we can start boarding. Our flight is direct from Penang to Hong Kong.

After another 1 hr flight, finally we reach Taiwan. Glad that both kids do not have any problem during flight take off and landing. Our first destination is going to the Fairy Lake Leisure Farm,仙湖休 閒農場 for our first day of farm stay. As soon as we reached their, the tour guide and team lead assign the room to us and we have to meet up again after we make sure everything in the room is functioning well because it's winter time and the sky turn dark very early. Our first activity at the farm is orange picking. We reached the farm at 5pm, and the sky is so dark. So we quickly start our picking and eating activity and by 530pm, it's a total dark and we move to the farm's restaurant for our dinner. Both kids enjoy themselves very much. Kelvin enjoy the picking while Kaitlyn enjoy the eating. Don't you feel that are just the best partner? One busy picking and one busy eating.
After dinner, it's ang ku kuih making time. Since lil girl totally exhausted, so she went back to the room to have her good sleep while i stay on with Kelvin for the rest of the activities. He is so happy and proud of his first masterpiece! And he kept ask me when can we eat the ang ku.
Finally, ang ku is here. It's different with what we used to eat in Malaysia. The filling for this ang ku is peanut. And my boy just simply love it at first bite. But he did complain that the ang ku stick on his teeth, LOL! One of the funny conversation between us,
K: mummy, i want to go back to the room and sleep
M: ok, let's go
K: mummy, what time now? (this is the way he ask what is the time now?)
M: 730pm, dear
K: huh? so early...then i don' t want to go back to the room, i and want to stay here and play
M: **slapped forehead** ok ok, we will go back to hotel room later.

Last by not least, we had karaoke session. The owner is so nice that he setup the karaoke for us. Well, basically there's nothing much up at the farm, it's so dark and a bit cold. My lil boy also participate in the karaoke. He really enjoy himself all the way out!
