Foam Party at Hord Rock Hotel

Being invited by an old friend of mine to Hard Rock Hotel foam party, when i told the kids about the plan, both of them looking forward to the event.

It's my fault, i gave the kids wrong info, i told them "the party will be in the pool and the whole pool will be filled up with foam". However, when we reached the pool, realized that the event is not in the pool, but it's beside the pool.

The hotel actually set up the foam party by the beach and keep pumping lots of foam into the pool for the kids to play. In fact, the session being separated into kids and adult. Kids session from 5 til 7pm; whereas adult session is from 7pm onwards. At the entrance of the foam pool, there's an arch shape water spray for the kids to clean themselves after they being covered by foams. Kelvin enjoy playing with Vanessa and Joel, however, Kaitlyn doesn't seems enjoying herself. We managed to make her play with the foam for awhile before letting her to play in the real pool with water.

It seems like after awhile, all kids get tired with the foam and they decided to deep into the pool. So, for us, we just need to keep our eyes on the kids as they are jumping in and out from the water. Finally, the lucky draw session start. Both Vanessa and Joel names being called out and they won small souvenir. Poor Kelvin and Kaitlyn, they get nothing..but glad that both of them enjoy playing with Vanessa and Joel.

It's tiring, hungry......after get the kids showered, we went to Penang Swimming Club for dinner. Ooops, wrong decision, there are club function and the kitchen busy serving food to them. So, we waited for almost 45 minutes before we can fill up our tummy. By the time we finish our dinner, it's already supper time, 9:20pm. We ended up the day by saying goodbye, see you to each others with 4 grumpy look kids.

Party time again

Earlier, the Party suppose to be on 20th Mar, but later on, the party being reschduled to 27th Mar. Phew, at least we can have some room for breathing. Why? 20th Mar, daddy back from China, and at the same time, we have 2 parties invitation, Evan's birthday party and teacher Kioh's farewell party. Our initial plan is, pick up daddy from airport then drop by teacher Kioh's house for a while, then go to Evan's party. However, few days before Evan's party, aunty Angeline send out an email informing us the party will be change to 27th Mar. Yippie, means it's not so rush for us.

Evan's party theme is Mickey and mummy was searching high and low for mickey attire for both of you. What a careless mummy. both of you actually has quite lots of mickey shirts, but mummy was scratching my head when aunty Angeline told me the theme. Until....when i checked the closet and found out that both of you do have mickey attire, but i don't have! another headache. But...aunty Angeline is kind enough to get one for me. (oops.....i still yet to pay her money for the shirt).

We arrived at the party around 715pm, thought we are late, but nope, we are early though. As soon as we stepped into the house, this caught your attention. Before you get too excited with the game, we took one family photo. You started to play with Evan and surprise me that two of you just seems like long lost friend, kinda of in sync with the game. As for the adult, we started to fill up our stomach and uncle Ben is the chef of the day.

After playing with the train set for a while, both kids decided to get wild. Both of them get on to the ride on and chase after each other in the house. Mummy requested aunty Angeline re-arrange one of the vase as i afraid you may hit on it while playing. As for Kaitlyn, she's so busy walking around and thank goodness, all the big brothers and big sisters do not accidentally hit on her shile playing. Poor daddy need to keep an eyes on Kaitlyn as this little girl very cheeky, she will climb up the couch, walk here and there, run here and there. And what's mummy doing?? Mummy busy eating! LOL!

And finally, it's cake cutting time. Everyone gathered at the coffee table and "wowwww" on the cake. The design of the cake is very impressive. By the time we sing birthday song and enjoy the cake, it's almost 10pm. Both of you seems a bit tired, but yet still very active. After cake, it's not bye bye time yet. We have ice cream potong and coconut jelly as dessert. As for kids, each of you get one small milo ice cream.

We leave the party close to 11pm. Both of you leave the party with a party bag and balloons. Thanks aunty Angeline and Uncle Ben for the invitation and lastly, Happy Birthday, Evan !

Let's Party!

We are being invited to attend Sean’s big one at Hardwick House - BBQ and buffet Restaurant. On the day, we let mei mei take a short morning nap and wake her up around 1130am and we all set to go for the party!

We arrived the restaurant close to 1230pm and mummy thought we are late, however, when daddy parked the car, I saw Aunty Angeline’s car coming in. Means, we are the only guests that are late.

Aunty Wooi Sin is so thoughtful. She had a special arrangement for parents with kids. We are being seated at first floors with bigger space for kids to run around. As soon as we step into the dining area, you were attracted by the balloons. We sat together with aunty Angeline, uncle Ben and Evan. Mummy quickly get you some food before you get carried away by the balloons. I saw spaghetti on the buffet line and quickly get some for you as you love spagetthi very very very very much. And to my surprise, mei mei also learn how to eat spaghetti on that day! Another milestone for her! Big clap, Kaitlyn!

All of us enjoyed our food. Aunty Wooi Sin also engaged with a clown for the party. We being told to be there early so that all kids being fully fed before the clown come. LOL! As soon as the clown step into the dining area, she’s the central of attention for all kids. All kids rushed to her asking for this and that balloons. You asked for sword and Kaitlyn has a flower balloon. You were half fed and you kept back and forth for your food. Well, as long as you are eating, then I am ok, because I know I can’t kept you seated on the chair with so many kids running around. And furthermore, you have your dear little sister to run around with you.

At last, it’s time for cake cutting. The poor little birthday boy cried for a while when aunty Wooi Sin want to carry him. Maybe he’s exhausted greeting so many aunties, uncles, k ekes, jie jies. But very fast, little Sean boy turn to smiling face and happily let aunty Wooi Sin carried him and enjoy the birthday song from all of us. So, after eating birthday cake, what’s next? Time to go home as it’s about nap time for both of you and mummy needs to go for aerobic class with aunty Angeline at 4pm. Need to work out after eating.

Christmas Party

Today, your school has Christmas Party, and of course how could we miss the opportunity attending such a fun party! In fact, it's a pot luck Christmas Party, so we brought along 2 boxes of jelly. We were there early, sharp at 7pm per the invitation card, there is only 1 or 2 kids at that moment, however, it doesn't really bother you much as you gets so excited seeing all the "castle" at the playground in the school. All kids were given a number when we handed the gift that we brought for the party to the teachers. Thye numbers indicate the gift that you gonna have during the gift exchange session.

Shortly, more and more people coming. Your favourite Jojo jie jie arrived around 7:30pm. She looks blur, must be just wake up from nap.

Then party started around 7:45pm and we get to enjoy the food first before all the activities. We had some noodle, and to my surprise you love the fried bee hoon. You keep ask for more , cool !

Alright, time for activities. It started with activity for kids from age of 2 and 3, which is your group. Parents need to accompany the kid for the activity, so, mummy accompany you while daddy be our cameraman. It's just a simple game whereby the kid need to follow the teacher to do all the actions. You enjoy it so much til when the next session is for age of 3 to 4, you also join the crowd.

Ah kong brought mei mei to meet with us at the school and she seems enjoy the loud christmas music, not feeling annoying at all. Thank goodness to all the helpful teachers, they take turn to help mummy carry mei mei so that mummy gets to participate in the acitivities with you.

After all games, here come the Santa. Uncle Beh wears the santa suit and bring all of you walk along the road. Tonighte is quite windy, nice weather for outdoor activities. After the short walk, it's gift exchange time. Teacher call out the number and the kid will claim the gift accordingly. After getting your gift, we decided to make a move as the wind is too strong for mei mei to stay outdoor. Of course you refuse to go, so we have to drag you out from the party, and luckily very fast, you are back to yourself, the happy boy! That's the end for today's party! Time to sleep....

Lantern Party

Your nursery organised a lantern party yesterday. However, the weather seems to be bad. It rain almost the whole day and the rain actually stop around 6pm. All of us keep our fingers crossed.

Rain come again around 7pm, but yet it doesn't stop us from going to the party. The party is at the open space beside to the Tmn Sri Nibong club house. We reached there around 7:30pm as mummy need to wait for the pizza. When we reached there, we being greeted by drizzle and there is already big crowd hiding under the canopy.

You don't seems to enjoy the party because you don't get to come down from daddy's arm and walk around freely. Why? Coz it's drizzling and daddy has to carry you ! The rain gets heavier and heavier as the events going on. So at last, we leave the party before the event end.

As soon as mummy unwrap the gift, you took it over from me and start playing with it.

See, how our little boy engross with the toy. He press press press, repeat repeat repeat not feeling bored with all those songs.

It's party time!

Daddy,mummy and you being invited to Aunty Angeline's condo for post new year BBQ on 5th Jan,2008! You woke up from sleep around 6:00pm, after taking your bath, we headed to the party. As soon as we left Ah Kong's house, here comes the rain. Hey, we are going for BBQ party and it's raining. So mummy keep praying the rain will only take place at Minden Height area. Along the way, there seems to be no sign of raining....however, too early to feel happy.

We reached Aunty Angeline's condo around 7pm, and most of the guests arrived. They were on their way to the BBQ area. As soon as we reached the BBQ area, mummy feel that feel droplet dropped on us and very soon, here come the bigger and bigger drops! So what's next??!! The party still on!
Mummy, you, daddy, Aunty Angeline and Evan kor kor went back to the condo meanwhile uncle Ben still continue with the BBQ in the rain. Guess what??!! They BBQ with umbrella, too bad, no photos to share. Mummy and Aunty Angeline then put some of the food in oven, BBQ them in oven! yeah! Faster way of cooking the food ya!

You don't seems to feel shy when you reached the condo. You walked into the living room, and you spotted the big Christmas tree. Then you started to play with Evan koh koh' toys.You had fish porridge prepared by Aunty Angeline as well as some cod fish. You enjoy the food very much. Oh yeah, for the past few times, everytime we went to their condo, you sure will leave something behind, your poo! This time mummy thought we will break the practise, but then, after you had your dinner, you poo!!! So what's next?! Of course changing diaper for you! Aunty Angeline is kind enough to let us uses her bedroom. You slept on her bed and later you even walk in and out from the bedroom as if you are in your own house.

Around 9pm, you started to be cranky as it's almost your sleeping time, so we decided to make a move

Oh yeah, you received 2 gifts from aunty Angeline. One is biscuit and another one is a musical toy!

Adult Gathering and KiDs PaRtY

Friday night, when Daddy and Mummy having our seafood buffet dinner at Traders Hotel, i received sms from Aunty Angeline, she's inviting us to her condo on Saturday. Aunty Angeline did invite us to their condo few months back and this time, it's Uncle Ben's turn to have mini party with his friend in their condo. Without any doubt, i replied her with "YES, we are going!" At the same time, Aunty Angeline also cook french bean porridge for you. She's a good host, right? Not forgetting to prepare food for the baby too :)

We try to let you have as much sleep as possible, however, you wake up around 4:30pm and refuse to sleep no matter what we do. You must be knowing that we are going out. Yes, mummy did inform you that we are going to Aunty Angeline's house. After Ah Ma bathed and put on the clothes that mummy choosed, you refuse to let anyone else carried you, besides mummy. Ah Ma gotta trick you so that you let them carry you so that mummy can get ready your "kai kai" bag.

We reached Aunty Angeline's condo around 6:40pm. Wow, this round, there is more kids than the previous party. Last round, most are babies and this time , most are toddlers. Then, mummy feed you with the porridge cook by chef Angeline. But, you can't sit properly and concentrate eating your dinner. You only ate a few of the porridge, so daddy decided to give you some milk instead. You drink the milk in your fastest speed then want to get down and play with the toys. Thank goodness, you seems ok hanging around with other kids. But of course, there is some small incident (kids fighting for toys) but no big issue, all of you behave well, when us - the parents, try to distract you guys with other toys, all of you easily get distracted. Bravo to all babies!

And for me and daddy, we both enjoy the food. Especially, mummy! I love the pizza, the salad,walnut tart, and...pork rendang! hmm...maybe i can ask Aunty Angeline to get her MIL to cook this for your upcoming birthday party.

Oh ya, we also take group photo. The group photo split into 2 session, one for mummy and babies, the other is for daddy and babies. You know what, you super excited during the photo taking session. While everyone try to squeeze into the camera screen, you kept yelling screaming at the top of your voice excitedly. **will post those pics once i receive it from Uncle Ben** You really enjoy yourself very very much! Mummy also let you try to sit in Evan koh koh's bumbo seat. Thank god, luckily mummy didn't get one for you, because the seat is justttt nice for you, no additional space.

We stayed in Aunty Angeline's condo for about 2 hrs plus, then we saw you kept rubbing your eyes, but the moment mummy put you on the floor with other kids, you super excited again. But, daddy said we gotta make a move before you become too cranky.

As soon as we get in the car, you ask for feed. And mummy nurse you in the car, and....within 3 mins, you in your dreamland...ZZzzzzzzz.

To all, don't think that my baby Kelvin will continue to sleep when we reached home. As soon as the car stop at our apt lobby, somehow rather, little Kelvin can sense it, he opened his eyes BIG and he seems like fully recharged his battery.
