Shopping for lighting

Yesterday night, on our way home around 8:45pm, mummy decided to try our luck by dropping at the Eberland Lighting House at Krystal Point. And YES, they still open. So happily we walked into the shop look for some lights for our new house.

As soon as we stepped into the shop, you started to walk around by yourself and refused to let any of us to carry you. As there is one area whereby it looks like stage to you, but it is actually a higher platform, so you keep asking daddy and mummy to join you up there. What did you do? You sing and dance on the "stage." You really give all of us including the shop people a good laugh, and you seems enjoy doing so, keep on singing and dancing.

Mummy ablet o distract you for a while by telling you to choose which wall light you want for your room. And you told me you want the ladybird wall light. Gosh, it looks scary to be, it's the whole shape of lady bird, mummy told you, "no no, choose another one" and guess what, next one even worst, you tell me you want the butterfly wall light. So, another "no no choose another one" from mummy. Mummy counter offer you the helicopter wall light, and you paused for a while then only said "ok!"

Don't you think it looks scary??? The one that we saw at the shop is red color.

After we decided on the helicopter wall light, you started to wonder around the shop again. Mummy needs to keep chase after you, afraid that we have to walk out with some spoilt light. So daddy has to decide what to buy all by himself.

After daddy done with the selection, it's mummy turn to negotiate on the price. The lady discounted a bit before she sum up the total amount, however, mummy still pretend not knowing that she discounted before and still ask for discount, and yeah, managed to get more discount! We will collect all the lighting from the shop tonight.

New year new shoesssss for me!!!

After dinner, we brought you to Gurney Plaza for a quick shopping before heading to Adventist for final jab of antibiotic. In less than 1 hr time, we managed to get you a pair of new shoes, a pair of sandals and replenish some groceries for you.

Mummy having hard time to find a nice sandals for you..and before i decided to give up, i saw the Larrie for kids corner, and we quickly walked over there. You even help mummy to choose the sandals. You took one shoes and handed it to mummy. The shoe looks quite nice, but too bad, it's the smallest size and yet still too big for you. I found one sandals and thank god, there is small size for you. Mummy let you try on the it and you refuse to let us take it off from you. So we ended up let you wear the new shoes and pack your old shoes in the box

What an active baby!

Today you didn't take your afternoon nap, so around 6pm, you walked like drunk person, keep hitting yourself here and there. So quickly, mummy fed you dinner and off, we headed back. Deep in my heart i wish you will fall asleep as soon as we reached home, but from my previous experience, i know u will not. As you will be able to see the bright sky from our room, so you will not sleep as long as you can see some bright light....

Daddy and mummy mess around with you in the room for close to 40 mins. You roll on the bed, move here and there and you even do some china acrobatic on the bed!
Daddy said " Bb, do you think we still need to send him to Tumble Tots?"
Mummy **no eyes see**

Since there is no way we can make you sleep and both me and daddy haven't take our dinner, so mummy suggested to bring you out to Queensbay Mall. Thank god, we have one mall nearby our house! Off, we went to QBM.

We decided to have dinner at the food court and again another surprises for us. You sat in the high chair throughout the dinner time. Mummy gave you a small amount of rice on a big plate, together with fork and spoon, for you to learn how to self feed and at the same time keep you busy with something new.

After dinner, we went around the mall for a while as daddy need to look for his magazine. Mummy let you sit in the shopping trolley and push you around the ground floor. As we pass by each shop lot, as soon as you see any Christmas tree with blinking light, you will "wahhh". And going to the mall and come home with empty hand is not mummy's style, so again mummy bought you one shirt and pants! yeah! When mummy paying money for the shopping, suddenly i heard you shouting "WAH!!!" loudly....you saw the Christmas tree at first floor. Not to disappointed you, daddy brought you up to first floor to look at the big Christmas tree while mummy went to pay the parking ticket.

When we reached home, after taking milk you went to lala-land. Wow, mummy doesn't even need to do any story telling, what an easy night for me!

Finally…I have sandals!

Mummy bought u a new sandal on Saturday, and you seems get annoyed by the blinking light everytime u step on it. You will walk and whenever u sees the light, u will sit down and try to catch it!! Mummy found it fun and bought it for you, but end up, you found that it’s not fun.

So what shall we do with the shoes? It becomes one of your toys!!! You will press on the shoes and let the light blink non stop…duh!

My shoes

Mummy bought me this pair of shoes when i was around 8 mths old, but according to old wives tales, i am not suppose to wear it until i'm one yr old, so mummy has to keep it until.........i'm around 10 mths old, finally, they let me wear on it. There is a lion head on the shoes, and i like to pull the lion hair, few of the hairs being pulled off by me, but overall, the lion still in good shape. When i'm about 13 months, Teacher Chuah told mummy to get me another pair of shoes which is meant for walking baby. So this is what mummy get for me, a sport shoe like baby shoe.
After 2 months, when i' 14 months, i'm sort like out grown the shoe, my feet feel very tight, so time for mummy to get me another pair of new shoe. This is what we bought last night...I don't like this shoe as it's heavier than the previous one due to the shoe sole is hard, but since i'm big boy now, so i need to wear big boy shoe, no more baby shoe for me.

My little Japanese Table

Daddy and mummy brought you to Tesco on Saturday morning....while screen through the Tesco brochure, mummy spotted this! But i can't find it at the area where they displayed the cabinet and chairs, so mummy checked with the store personnel. He directed me to the other area in Tesco and when mummy get to that area, the super unfriendly lady told me that the stock not yet arrived. Mummy very disappointed, and then i saw the previous store personnel walked towards me...he is such a nice guy, he told mummy that he found out that the table is actually just right behind where we stood earlier, it's in the box, that's why both of us can't find it. He even offer mummy to carry the table to our shopping cart. As mummy can't find you and daddy, (we in fact walked half of the Tesco to find you and daddy), so at the end, mummy asked him to leave the table at the diaper area as i want to buy diaper for you.

In fact, Mummy has been searching high and low for a small table that suit you,and finally....yes, we found it!And..here u go, your small little dining and playing table.

You like it very much and you even spread out your toys on the table.....can you tell what is the background of the table? haha! It's dinosaurs background.

My new shoes

Daddy has appointment with friend at Sunshine Square McD today. So, after dinner, 3 of us headed to Sunshine Square. Initially daddy has doubt whether i can handle you alone or not, and guess what, mummy took up the challenge to handle you alone in Sunshine Square.

First, we dropped by the children dept as teacher Chuah asked mummy to get you a pair of walking shoes. While mummy choosing on which one to get for you, you keep pulling the shoes out from the shelf. Luckily the saleslady is a nice lady, she picked up all the shoes and replace it back to the original place. After getting you a pair of new shoes, mission one done! Then we proceed to ground floor for groceries.

Mummy let you sit in the shopping cart and of course, to keep you well entertained, we must let you hold on something. So i just simply grab a pack of sweet for you to play with. While we were at the cashier counter made our payment, a lady seeing mummy has to carry you and the shopping bags, she offered us her shopping cart. Mummy politely thank her for her kindness, my lil fella will not sit still in the shopping cart without anything on his hand. Around 40 mins later, i received phone call from daddy. Time to go back...i bet daddy must be surprise seeing us with big bag small bag...

Evening Shopping at QBM

Yesterday night, we decided to bring you to QBM for a short walk after dinner. You were so excited when daddy drove the car into the parking lot. You can't wait to get down from the car and kept showing your excited face when daddy looking for parking. Luckily us, we managed to find a nice parking spot in shortest time.

As daddy need to get something done, so mummy decided to walk with you instead of waiting for daddy. We decided to meet at Toys"R"us. Along the way we pass by OshKosh and mummy decided to check on their shoes for you. There is quite a lot of nice shoes, but in terms of price wise, a bit expensive for toddler's shoes, it's from the range of RM59 til RM79. I spotted few nice shoes, but no more size 5. The sales lady very friendly and nice, she helps mummy to sort out those still have size 5, and out of many, only 4 has size 5. Out of the 4, only 2 of them looks nice to mummy. While mummy and the sales lady busy fitting the shoes for you, guess what...you were busy too. You were busy "eating" the other shoe that you grab from the shelf. Duh!! hahaha! Mummy has to apologies to the sales lady. At the end, we didn't buy any shoe from Osh Kosh as mummy can't find any that i like. The next shop we went to was Baby Gap, errm.....not much choices compare to OshKosh, i will say, no choice.

Since no luck in shoe hunting, so mummy decided to bring you to Enfant, i know i sure can get you something there. Mummy bought you one set of pyjamas, one set of clothes and one long sleeve sleep ware. While mummy busy choosing clothes for you, you suddenly insisted me to move to the other section of the shop. You spotted a set of red clothing. And baby, it's for baby girl, not for you. Mummy told you that it's for girl, not for boy. And guess what, you gave me a bit at my arm. Ouch, so pain!! Quickly, mummy paid and want to bring you to Tor"R"Us. And while mummy paying for the shopping, you grab my newly bought Braun Buffel purse and start "biting" it....hey, the purse just one day old. Daddy just bought it for me a day before. Luckily mummy noticed it, else i have to find the missing piece in your mouth.

Finally, we are in Toy"R"us. We went to the Party Section first as mummy want to get some balloon, party bunting, etc for your upcoming big one party.To keep you busy, mummy gave you a pack of plastic fruits to hold on it while mummy check at the Party section. Later, i brought you to the toy section at the end. You were so excited with all the toys especially all the toy cars. Thank god, daddy arrived at Toy"R"Us not long after that. I quickly hand you over to him and ask him to let you explore all the toys, mummy exhausted as you too active. Quickly, i went to the party section again to grab whatever i spotted earlier. And suddenly i heard a loud laughing noise, and i know it's you! hahahaha.....When i went back to the toy section, you were sitting in the swing and holding a sword. Daddy said you laugh out loud and happily when he let you play with the sword. Oh yeah, at the same time, you gave him few bites too!!! I know i know, you try to be fair to daddy and mummy. Since you bitten me earlier, so you also bite daddy so that he wont complain sayang you only love mummy huh! good boy! yeah!

After mummy paid for the party thing, we decided to go home as you start to rub your eyes and you looks a bite sleepy too.

When we reached home, as usual, you must watch your favourite lullabies and play with your toys before sleep. Since you exhausted, you go to your la la land pretty fast when mummy nurse you.

Tea Break @ Tesco McD

Yes yes, surprise surprise! Mummy went to McDonalds!! Mummy is not fans of McD, but since i get the birthday voucher from company, so mummy and daddy decided to use it before we forget. So, on Friday afternoon, seeing you so bored at home, so we decided to bring you out. It's Public Holiday, our 50th Merdeka, every where will be jam terriblely. Initial plan is to go to Queensbay Mall, then daddy and mummy afraid of the bad jam, so we decided to go Tesco.

Well, we didn't make a wise choice, though. As daddy drove closer to the parking entrance, we saw there is a long queue waiting to get into the parking area, gosh.....since we were there, so we also join in the queue. Luckily, we manage to get a parking spot pretty fast. Then, we proceed to McD before we start our shopping in Tesco.

How we keep you entertain while we eating our burger? Smart daddy! He gets you few ketchup saucer and you seems very excited playing with it. Mummy and daddy get to enjoy our burger peacefully and happily! After that, you decided to disturb the che che sitting next to us, you roar at her for few times. Naughty boy!

When we went up to Tesco, gosh, it's so crowded. So, mummy decided to join the crowd and daddy get the honor job to carry you. We shop for about 30 mins and you showed us the tired look. Mummy quicly grab whatever needed and off, we headed back.

When we reached home, since you're tired, so you go to la la land pretty fast. By the way, this is your first time celebrating Merdeka ya!

Mummy in hurry to bring you out and forget to bring along camera...what a waste :(

Your Sunday event ~ What a beautiful Sunday!

Today, we are suppose to bring you to Tumble Tots for your babygym trial session, but we didn't make it.

Morning
You wake mummy and daddy up around 9am, no matter how hard we try, you refused to continue sleep...so end up, we give up! Daddy bring you to the garden behind our apt block for a walk while mummy quickly clean up myself (brush teeth, wash face, shower)

Later, we brought you to Uncle Austin's shop for hair cut. We were there early, so we went to Watson for a while. We waited for Uncle Austin for about 10 mins, and when you met his daughter, you greeted her with sweet smile when she showed you a small ball....Uncle Austin said you look so happy now and later you will scream when he cut your hair. Yes, he is right!! Mummy carry you and uncle Austin "cut" your hair, you scream scream and scream, poor thing. Actually we are suppose to bring you for hair cut few weeks ago, but mummy know for sure you will scream, so we kept postponing the plan until the day before, daddy saw you keep sweating, so no choice, gotta bring you for haircut. The hair cutting session only less than 5 mins, but to mummy, i felt it's 1 hr long. Seeing you scream and cry, i wish i can find a way to calm you down. I guess you don't like people touching you head and hold you tight.

After haircut, we headed back to our apt where you had a short nap before your baby gym class. While you were sleeping, daddy and mummy quickly had our brunch. While mummy came out from bathroom, i heard you crying. Daddy was in the room comforting you, but the moment you see me, you want me to carry you.

Afternoon
We left our apt around 12:45pm, mummy know that for sure we won't be on time for the class, but still try our luck. We managed to get parking spot pretty fast, but it was already 1:15pm. When we got down from the car, you clapped your hand happily and waving with daddy. So, guess what, we decided to shop in Queensbay Mall. We brought you to food department as daddy want to show you some veggies and fruits. Then, we proceed to Toys'R'us. At there, you had great time playing with some of the toys. After that, we stopped by Enfant shop, and mummy get you one set of pajamas. While daddy paying for the pajamas, suddenly you decided to make friend with the promoter. You touched the promoter's hand and you even let her touch you and at the same time, you gave her your sweetest cheeky smile. Then...oh no, mummy smell something, oh no, you poo poo! So we went to Jusco's baby room, and no choice, daddy gotta come in together with us as mummy alone won't able to change diaper for you.

After the change, oops, almost time for you to eat...luckily mummy brought along the Dumex rice cereal, and when you saw it, you asked for it and keep screaming.....daddy has to distract you with other thing while mummy preparing it for you. This is mummy's first time preparing it for you, so a bit clumsy. We were wondering where we should feed you the rice cereal, so we wonder around and ta daaaa, i spotted the chair right in front of the bakery, so we sat there and had your lunch. You finish the whole bowl, then we went to Ah Kong's house. You behave well in the mall and very excited and happy!

When we reached Ah Kong's house, Ah Kong just about to leave the house to the computer fair. He turned back and play with you for a while. You fall asleep pretty fast as you must be very tired as mummy sees you sleep sweetly in your cradle. You are such a sweet baby!

I wanna go kai kai

Friday evening, on our way back to Ah Kong's house and we were trapped in usual Friday bad traffic jam, daddy suddenly asked you whether would you like to go Tesco again or not. Too bad, we can't go straight as mummy forgot to bring along ice pack and there is still a bottle of 8oz milk left over from this morning, so we have to go back straight to Ah Kong's house.

And guess what, little you, seems like you get the message "want to go Tesco" and you refused to sleep no matter how hard everyone try to make you sleep. While mummy expressing milk at upstairs, daddy rushed me and told me that we have to bring you out to Tesco else you will keep making noise. Quickly, mummy expressed milk then we headed to Tesco. This is your second time there. The first time, we went on 1st Aug where we bought your rice cereal and you were happily hold on to the rice cereal, you know it's your food, right? :)

First, we brought you to the toy section and you were fascinated by the toys, you touch every single toys that within your reachable distance. We even let you try on the ride on toy, you seems less interest on those, maybe you don't get to push the ride on yourself, so you haven't discover the fun yet. Daddy bought you a storage box to keep your toys and books. You seems very excited and you even helped us to push the shopping cart. You refused to let daddy carry you as you decided to torture mummy. Mummy has to carry you low so that you can hold on to the shopping cart bar and push it together with daddy. We stayed there for almost 1 hr then time to go back.

When we reached Ah Kong's house, your battery total flat, when we put you in cradle, less than 1 minute , you already in your ZZZzzland. You must be super tired and exhausted.

Lesson learn, NEVER and EVER promise or ask your kid for the sake of asking. After ask, must take action, else you will in trouble..hahaha
