Inner Struggle ~ 内心的挣扎

Has been a decade i didn't update any post. Ever since first kid started his primary school life, i have cut down the time spend in front of computer, unless i need to complete urgent work.

Today, i started to write my first post for year 2016.

**Disclaimer: This is purely my personal feel/ opinion**
As soon as i reached home, my son told me his sister gets last position in the class. When i heard of this, immediately, i felt the sky falling on me. Deep in my heart, i kept telling myself, "it's ok, not a big deal"; but on the other hand, my brain kept telling me, "no no, it's not truth, it should not ". Do i emphasize a lot on her academy performance? Of course YES. If i say No, then i am lying and avoiding facing the truth. Yes, i do care on her academy performance even though i know she has her own limitation, i can't push her too much. I kept telling myself, academy performance doesn't guarantee her future. But, at least, her result shouldn't be so bad. Otherwise, all the efforts that daddy, me and tuition teachers put on her will be down into the big monsoon drain. So, i walked to my girl and check with her, thank goodness, she gave me other answer which is much better than what the brother told me.

As for my boy, i know he has mixed feeling with his results. For this round, we encounter some bias and fairness situation. He asked me where is fairness when teacher marking their essay paper.  And i really don't know how to answer him. I can't tell him "boy, i agree there isn't fairness being applied in this round's exam marking". What i can tell him is " no point crying over spilled milk, i know you have done your best, i am happy for you."

孩子们,加油! 前面的路还很长,这次的考验,只是过云雨...别被一时的挫折打击你的信心!!! 别理张三说什么,李四要做什么, be your own-self, I am proud of you for doing your very best!

It's not a perfect world

My poor girl suddenly wake up in her sleep and cried badly saying one of her friends took away her tissue in school. Well, my girl's style is, she will be ok if her closed friend took away her thing; however, she will feel agitated if someone who is not so closed with her take or touch her thing. So, obviously, the person who took her tissue is someone who is not that closed with her. She told me she did inform teacher, but teacher told her it's small matter. Yes, to teacher , it's small matter; but, to my little girl, it's not a small matter. Can't blame the teacher, they have too many students issues to handle in school.

Luckily, she has a closed friend in school, Vion. Vion noticed she's upset so bought her a strawberry cake to cheer her up. She's such a sweet little friend of my girl!!

With this, i have to let my girl aware that this world is not a perfect world. She will face different types of people in school. She needs to learn how to take care and protect her own belongings. I doubt she understand me as she's sobbing and in grievance.

My poor little girl down with mild food poisoning

As usual, i wont be picking up the kids from school on Thursday. Was busy at the kitchen when the kids came home, both got up for their own shower cum water play time after school. Out of the blue, my girl told me she felt cold after shower, actually it's first sign of her not feeling well as she's not fancy with hot water, and always prefer to shower with cold water. Thus, she will never complain cold after shower. But, the careless mummy didn't get the first hint.

After dinner, she told us she felt cold and where should she stand to keep herself warm. Oops....luckily daddy is alert enough and quickly check at her forehead. Actually, daddy also missed the first hint when he felt her little hand a bit at warm side when he picked her up. Quickly, we let her take half of the paracetamol tablet.

The poor little girl so worry about her school homework and insisted to finish the homework. However, she dozed off in front of her small table. LOL!

I hate it very much when the kids down with fever....this means, i can't sleep peacefully at night. Need to keep waking up to check at them. We fed her paracetamol every 4 hourly. She vomited two times, once yesterday night and the other time was this morning. Poor girl.

Since she looks tired and kinda weak, so we decided to keep her at home. After few round of medication, she seems better and the vomit seems under control. Wish she will recover soon as next week will be her first school exam . Get well soon, darling !

可爱又可恶的哥妹俩

君子报仇千年不晚， 这可是对的。
妹妹一直喜欢作弄哥哥，然后哥哥一直以来都是忍气吞声。。。但是，人总是有极限的嘛。就在有一晚，哥哥终于决定报复。

哥哥很奸诈的从bathroom 走出来，很“友善”的请妹妹刷牙去，还告知妹妹他帮了妹妹准备牙刷，牙膏。妹妹对这善良的哥哥从没怀疑过。
一会儿，妹妹从bathroom 跑出来，问，为什么牙膏那么辣？？？！！！

哈哈哈哈哈哈哈哈哈哈哈哈哈哈哈哈哈哈哈哈哈哈哈哈哈。。。。
可恶的哥哥笑个不停，很神气的说，“是我将妈咪的牙膏放在你牙刷上，谁叫你常常弄我！！”

那可怜的妹妹，听了哥哥那么讲，也没反驳。头低低的走进 bathroom 去。我和老公俩完全没介入他们的纠纷，我们在暗暗地笑。他们弄两真的是可爱又可恶的哥妹俩！

Time flies

Time flies....school already started for 1 week plus. I remembered, when my boy started his primary one school life in 2013, i talked to myself "how am i going to speed up the time so that i can lessen my miserable suffer", but it's just like in the blink of an eye, my boy completed his primary one school life and he's in primary 2 now.

The 7 weeks school holiday seems not enough for all of us. I was busy with my work til the very last 2 weeks of the school holiday, finally i am able to take a rest. However, who knows, the fist week of my off week, i was down with bad throat infection, there go my plan to spend time with the kids. By the time i fully recover, it's almost time for the kids to get ready for their 2014 schooling life.

Hope 2014 will be a smooth sailing year for both my boy and girl !!

开课了！

给儿子。。。

很多人会觉得我太保护孩子，孩子已经是二年级学生了，我还坚持要在开学第一天仍然到学校去。I am who i am, you can choose to accept or reject me, however, i am still me !

身为职业妈咪，我已失去了一起与孩子成长的机会，现在若我仍不放下工作，陪一陪孩子，恐怕我会后悔。我记得，去年当孩子上一年级时，一个朋友讲，我们只可能有这三天的机会待在学校倍孩子，下一次再来，可能就是孩子毕业的时候了。讲得蛮有道理。虽然，我时不时会到孩子的学校去，但在不同时候和情况之下，毕竟心情是不一样的。

今天，我仍然很开心，因，当我看到孩子开心的笑容时，我觉得，小小的牺牲( 学校好热，我简直是汗流浃背）是值得的。

宝贝，二年级了，加油！！！

给女儿。。

妹妹，K2 了，是学校里的大姐姐，要乖乖哦！ 妈咪没到学校去，因妈咪知道学校里的老师会照顾你。哥哥就不同，因哥哥到国小，凡事都自己处理。

宝贝，幼二了，加油！今年是你在幼儿园的最后一年，明年你就会跟哥哥一起上学去！

Foam Party at Hord Rock Hotel

Being invited by an old friend of mine to Hard Rock Hotel foam party, when i told the kids about the plan, both of them looking forward to the event.

It's my fault, i gave the kids wrong info, i told them "the party will be in the pool and the whole pool will be filled up with foam". However, when we reached the pool, realized that the event is not in the pool, but it's beside the pool.

The hotel actually set up the foam party by the beach and keep pumping lots of foam into the pool for the kids to play. In fact, the session being separated into kids and adult. Kids session from 5 til 7pm; whereas adult session is from 7pm onwards. At the entrance of the foam pool, there's an arch shape water spray for the kids to clean themselves after they being covered by foams. Kelvin enjoy playing with Vanessa and Joel, however, Kaitlyn doesn't seems enjoying herself. We managed to make her play with the foam for awhile before letting her to play in the real pool with water.

It seems like after awhile, all kids get tired with the foam and they decided to deep into the pool. So, for us, we just need to keep our eyes on the kids as they are jumping in and out from the water. Finally, the lucky draw session start. Both Vanessa and Joel names being called out and they won small souvenir. Poor Kelvin and Kaitlyn, they get nothing..but glad that both of them enjoy playing with Vanessa and Joel.

It's tiring, hungry......after get the kids showered, we went to Penang Swimming Club for dinner. Ooops, wrong decision, there are club function and the kitchen busy serving food to them. So, we waited for almost 45 minutes before we can fill up our tummy. By the time we finish our dinner, it's already supper time, 9:20pm. We ended up the day by saying goodbye, see you to each others with 4 grumpy look kids.
