A busy day for her

Ever since Kaitlyn able to walk unsupported all by herself, this little girl of mine super busy. The falling down incident doesn't stop her from walking. The moment she wakes up from sleep, she will walk non stop from front to back, back to front of the house. So we need to keep our eyes close on her, bacause she can even climb up the split level and stairs in the house. *scary huh*

A happy girl

For unknown reason, Kaitlyn likes to play with my handbag and also basket. Everytime as soon as she gets a bag, she will walk towards the door, sayong "kai kai" and wave bye bye with all of us. A future shopping kaki!

As usual, during the weekend, she whined me and want me to let her carry my handbag. I recalled that hubb bought a small bag forKelvin during his last trip to China, so this is how i make my little girl happy!

Falling down

Oh….what happen to my my sweetie.

Today, when mummy picked you up from school, teacher Margaret in her worry face ask mummy what happen to my cellphone as she kept calling me, and mummy didn’t pick up the call. My heart sank and I asked her what’s going on…..teacher Margaret’s expression told me something happen to either you or ke ke. And…it’s about you!

You fall down and knock on left side of your cheek. Without asking for more detail, I rushed up to where your class is and want to have a check on you. But you were sleeping soundly in your baby cot, I guess you must be too tired after the cry and fall asleep. I can see the blue black mark on your left cheek and gosh….my heart really sank. Then only I asked teacher Margaret what’s happening to you. According to her, you fall down on the floor and knock on your left cheek and she told me you weren’t holding anything on your hand while you fall. Even mummy feel not happy with your fall, but this is part and parcel of growing up. Just hope that you will learn the lesson, which I don’t think you do, because after mummy wake you up from sleep, you insisted me to let you walk, LOL!

We then went to Ms Goh’s house to pick up ke ke, and I heard another version of story from Ms Goh. She told me the teacher told her that you fall down outside the bathroom. And mummy even more angry with this. I raised my voice and asked her “Why the teacher let her walk after they bath Kaitlyn? Don’t they know that the kid’s leg still wet and chances of them falling down is high?” but well, thing already happen and i just wish that teacher will be more cautious next time.

At night, daddy try to use a boiled egg to massage on your face, however you refuse to let us do it, so we give up and at the end, the 2 dogs get to eat the egg.

Your first step

Friday, when mummy picked you up from school, teacher happily told me that you are able to walk many many steps unsupported by yourself. And you get so excited and keep walking around in the afternoon, so they really have hard and rough and challenging time to make you take your afternoon nap. After wake up from afternoon nap, again, you walk nonstop at the playing area in your baby class.

Am so happy seeing you able to walk all by yourself, however, here come the worries, you refuse to let us hold on your hand and you walk like a little penguin, trying to balance yourself while walking.

And guess what, beside daddy and mummy, ke ke is the most happy boy seeing you able to walk and he kept running around in the house asking you to chase after him, and you keep trying to catch him. Well, his one round running around the house is your ¼ walking distance, LOL!

Challenging cum headache moment

Kelvin is going to Kindergarten 1 by next year, but til now, he still doesn't show the interest on writing. I checked with school teacher and teacher assured me that she did assessment for all the 3 yrs old student in the class, and Kelvin can follow the dotted alphabet properly, and she even showed me Kelvin's masterpiece. I tried to do the same thing at home, but, he refused to hold the pencil properly or sometimes he will tell me he is tired and want to sleep.

Yesterday night, i forced him to do a simple picture and number matching. I draw few items and requested him to match the picture with the correct number, the little boy of mine refuse to follow instruction and we have to force him to do it. In fact, he knows how to do, the problem is he doesn't want to.

It' gonna be a big challange for me. I cannot let him go on honeymoon anymore as he's going to Kindergarten 1 by next year. Any clue??

I Love You, You Love Me

While we were in the car, Kaitlyn suddenly decided that she wants to kiss me and Kelvin. She started to give me a big wet kiss on my face, then follow by my eyes, my forehead and last, right on my lips.

After that, she called out the brother softly , "keh!", "Keh!", "Keh!" for few times until the brother hear her and put his face near to her. Then she started to kiss the brother, and i do hear a "chup" sound coming out from her. Then the 2 brother and sister kissing each others and both attack on my face together.

More and more steps

This morning, you balance yourself from squatting position and try to walk few steps unsupported. Previously, you need to lean on someone or hold on someone's hand and balance yourself then only you will walk few steps unsupported.

I see you squatting up and down and walk by yourself few times in less than 10 mins time and i guess you are about ready to walk unsupported by yourself. Great job, baby!
