Well done, Kaitlyn !
Few days before the prize giving ceremony, teacher told us she won prizes in all the 3 languages writing competition. I still remembered, on the prize giving ceremony morning, when my girl wakes up, she told me she gets number 2 placing in her class, and i jokingly tell her that it must be there's only 2 student in her class.
Frankly, all the while, i under-estimate my little sweetie pie and i put more attention on her brother. I feel so bad for not focusing much on her and i am so proud of her achievement.
Well done, my sweet little girl. Keep it up!

The Naughty Corner
I started to have a naughty chair for Kelvin when he's about 1 yr old, but the plan get called off, because not really successful. And the other factor is, i am carrying baby #2 at that time, so i don't have much energy to force him sit at naughty corner and lecture him.
Actually, i do not intend to set up any naughty corner for him, as Kelvin's style is, he needs someone to talk and explain nicely to him instead of punishment. But he's getting more and more misbehave until i need to bite my own tongue when seeing he's so naughty. In fact, i do asked him to hold his both ears and squat up and down for 10 times, but he only manage to do 4 times and i pity him and ask him to stop. As such, it's time to set up the naughty corner again as Kelvin is turning 3 and it's very crucial to tell him what is right and what is wrong. So on Saturday, i introduce him the naughty corner in our 1st floor family hall. And i told him, NO chair and NO toy at naughty corner. Both hand must out straight side by side.
The activity that trigger the opening ceremony of the naughty corner is, he kept putting his index finger into the mouth and bite his own shirt. I keep asking him don't don't don't until i lost count, so at night, i asked him go up to his naughty corner and stand there, and tell me what he had done wrongly. When i got up the the family hall, he's standing there, but he was holding the curtain, playing with the curtain. Don't care....i just want him to tell me what he had done wrongly. To my surprise, he can say out the 2 things that i want him to tell me. Ok , since he able to tell me what he did wrongly , so i just "lightly" lecturing him, tell him why i don't allow him to put fingers into the mouth and also why i don't like him biting the shirt. I really hope he can remember this and will not repeat it again.
I hope he wont be the regular customer to the naughty corner. Else, i need to find another way of punishment.

New vocab learned
Today, when mummy went to pick you up from school, you surprised me with 2 new words.
Teacher Margeret: Kelvin, who goes to the moon?
Kelvin: Astronaut
Mummy : **Wow**
Teacher Margeret : Kelvin, how do you call baby butterfly?
Kelvin: caterpillar
Mummy : **another wow**
Happily, teacher Margeret told mummy that today she showed all of you some flash card and apparently there is one rocket and caterpillar being shown to you all. So she took the opportunity to tell you all that astronaut goes to the moon and caterpillar is baby butterfly. Looks like you are picking up lots of new words in school. Hope you enjoy being in the school and will pick up more and more words and give daddy and mummy more and more surprises.

Mummy and You ....our Name
Finally, you say out your own name when we ask you what is your name. Mummy so worry that you refuse to follow after us to say out your name, after asking for Dr Tan's advice, he told me lots of kids will not say out their name, even though they know what is their name.
All thanks for Ms Goh's effort in making you to say out your name. She started by asking the other girl in baby class to call out your name, and that girl will say it as "ehvin" and you don't feel happy being called that way by her, so you say out your name, as "Kelvin". After a few effort, you finally say out your name when we ask you what is your name. However, still need some guidance,
Mummy : What is your name?
Mummy : My name is ...
Kelvin: Kelvin
And recently i also teach you mummy and daddy's name, however, you only can remember mummy's name **wink wink**
Mummy: What is mummy's name?
Kelvin : JOHHH anne (you will say JO loud loud follow by anne softly)
Next task is to let you pick up Daddy's name. You will repeat daddy's name after me, but when i asked you what is daddy's name, you will smile at me.

With doubt, at home, mummy wrote those word on paper, and to my surprise, when I point to those word, you able to read it out to me….it’s really AMAZING!
You read,
Dog sound like dok
Jane sounds like Jen
And = and
Shop sounds like sop

Good job baby!
After some effort, finally you able to say A-Z and 1-10 after us.
When mummy said "I", you will point your eyes, as you heard it as "eye" instead of "I" and when i said "T", you will show me your teeth instead of following me say "T". You will be able to relate the alphabet to some word, such as:-
a- apple
b- ball or baby
c- car
u-uncle, but you will say it as kel, this is your version of calling uncle
As for number, when mummy said 1, you will follow by 2, but, sometimes you will straight go to 10!! You still cannot say out 7 properly.
I guess i need to admit, time flies, you no longer baby. You are 1.5 years old toddler now. And you started to communicate with us in your own baby language.

Mummy, diaper and you.
You are getting more and more cheeky and helpful nowadays. The first time I taught you throw your own diaper, you were very excited. So now, every time after we change your diaper for you, if we forgot to let you throw it yourself, you will scream scream and scream until…we let
you take your own diaper and throw it!
you take your own diaper and throw it!
And mummy like to tease you, saying your diaper is so full and you will point at your diaper, and sometimes, you will walk to me with a new diaper, giving me the instruction “mummy, time to change diaper!”
My little boy seems growing up , now, can give instruction to mummy huh!
