Evening walk at Church Street Pier

Daddy wanted to bring you to Church Street pier long long time ago but we never make it til yesterday, Saturday, finally, we made it!!!

It's the first time you get to see ferry and when we tell you it's ferry, you showed us the look like you have no idea what we are talking. But later, you told us "pheli ! pheli !" when you sees the ferry departing. And also you kinda excited seeing all cars moving up at the ramp, we told you, "Vin, see, those cares are going up the bridge!" and you then keep telling us "car up bich".

After a short walk, you spotted the buggy and want to drive it! Then later, we brought you to QEII whereby there is a big fountain at the entrance. You were so so so excited seeing the fountain! Daddy then bring you to see the yachts at closer look. You call it "big boat".

Mummy's tummy is making some noise, so it's time to make a move, however, you refused to leave the place. You walk and run around, so both daddy and mummy need to chase after you. After some running around, and finally, you agree to let daddy carry. Phew!!! So our next stop will be Hokkien Mee at Gudwara Road. We ordered Lor Mee and loh bak for ourselves, and the pan fried bean curd for you. You enjoy eating it very much!

And guess what, that's not end of the day's activity yet! On our way back, as soon as daddy turn into the road leading to our apt, you started to call out "uncle James" out..and no matter how hard mummy convince confuse talk to you, you still keep saying "uncle James", so we try our luck to drop by their house, and they are about to go out for dinner. So, end up, we went out with them to QBM. And since the mall is so crowded on Saturday night, so we dare not let you run around freely in the mall, and this make u become cranky as you don't get to walk and run around freely. While they are having their dinner at food court, daddy carry you to walk around while mummy enjoying my ambra asam juice. After everyone done with dinner, we walk around for a while then headed back to uncle James house. You insist to play for a while before go back to our home sweet home. Mummy super exhausted but you still energetic. Salute you!

We had this free bag with the purchase of the orange flavor Scott Emulsion. And on and off, you will request us to let you play with the bag. So...this is you, just wake up from sleep and blur blur walking around in the house with the bag and your tumbler.

You and Me at home...

Today, i took up a challenge by keeping you at home with me while i'm working from home. Hehe, not full day, but half day as for the first half of the day, daddy is with us at home, so he basically accompany you while mummy try to get my thing done so that i can accompany you i the afternoon.

You woke up at around 9:10am this morning, a long sleep for you, and after that you wonder around the house and play with daddy. Daddy left to work around 1pm and from 1pm onwards, it's just ONLY ME and YOU at home.

You showed sleepy sign and mummy brought you to the room, but you refused to sleep and asked me to bring you out from the room. No choice, have to follow your instruction! What's next?? You want to play with my laptop, so i let you mess up play with it for a while. And i think mummy accidentally hit your face with my nails and you cried out loud, partly also you are tired. So brought you into the room again, and this time, seems better than earlier as you kinda tired. But you also refused to sleep and want mummy to carry you....aak mummy to switch on the light, the air cond, the stereo.....and finally i have no idea what should i do...and finally, i told u to keep quiet as the blue dog and the doll want to sleep, and also ask you to keep quiet and listen to the sound of the air coming out from air cond, TA DAAAAA..within 1 mins, you dozed off.

Mummy then sneak out from the room and continue with my work. And around 45 mins later, when i was getting myself a cup of water in kitchen, i heard some toy sound from the room. I quickly walked to the room and saw you sitting on the bed playing with your toys. Quickly, i lay you down and take the toy away from you PHEW!! You fall asleep after some whining.

When i am typing this, you are still in your sweet lala-land. Hope you will sleep til 4:30pm then only wake up coz you skipped your morning nap.

Gift from thousand miles away...

Mummy asked Kenny Ah Ku to do a survey on baby monitor and to my surprise, he bought one for me without telling me...surprise surprise. It's Fisher Price's Sounds 'n Lights baby Monitor.
Mummy yet to fix it up as we do not need to use the baby monitor for time being, will probably keep it til we move to our new house.

Mummy and You ....our Name

Finally, you say out your own name when we ask you what is your name. Mummy so worry that you refuse to follow after us to say out your name, after asking for Dr Tan's advice, he told me lots of kids will not say out their name, even though they know what is their name.

All thanks for Ms Goh's effort in making you to say out your name. She started by asking the other girl in baby class to call out your name, and that girl will say it as "ehvin" and you don't feel happy being called that way by her, so you say out your name, as "Kelvin". After a few effort, you finally say out your name when we ask you what is your name. However, still need some guidance,

Mummy : What is your name?
Mummy : My name is ...
Kelvin: Kelvin

And recently i also teach you mummy and daddy's name, however, you only can remember mummy's name **wink wink**

Mummy: What is mummy's name?
Kelvin : JOHHH anne (you will say JO loud loud follow by anne softly)

BINGO!!!

Next task is to let you pick up Daddy's name. You will repeat daddy's name after me, but when i asked you what is daddy's name, you will smile at me.

Home Alone Day #1

Daddy will be flying to India later today...so means tonite will be only mummy and you. We will move back to Ah Kong's house while daddy is away.

Luckily this is the shortest trip that daddy ever had. He will be back on Thursday afternoon. What a relief. As mummy is getting more and more clumsy nowadays, i won't be able to play and run around with you.

Have a pleasant trip, daddy!! We all miss you!

Mummy, Kelvin and Baby

My new toy!

Ah Ma bought you this toy car on Saturday and you were very excited with you. Initially ah ma want to get you a motorbike but mummy disagree with t e idea as it's a bit dangerous for your age group. However, even with the car, we need to supervise you, why? Look at the pic below, you actually stand up in the car!! Must be getting bored sitting in the car huh!

The car comes with a remote control as well, so means, we can move you around in the car for time being and when you know how to control the car better, then you can drive the car by yourself around the house. We do let you try to drive the car by yourself, and you will only go for one direction which is either forward or backward, as by changing the direction, you need to press at the direction button at the same time, a bit too complicated for a 20 months old "baby"!

On and off, you will look at the wheels of the car, you must be figuring out how to turn the car upside down so that you can play with the wheels huh!

Plant for mummy

For this year, daddy didn't get any flower for mummy on her birthday, in fact daddy gets mummy a plant!
Coz the goverment just adjust the patrol price, so now we cannot simply spend money, so again, 3 of us drew a plant for mummy.

Happy Birthday, Mummy

Today is mummy's birthday, yesterday night i refuse to sleep, so daddy brought me out from the room, and 3 of us (daddy, me and baby) made this card for mummy while mummy Zzzzz in the room.Daddy too excited until he mis-spelled the word Birthday as Birtday, and he doesn't aware of the mistake. And guess what, mummy spotted the spelling mistake when she saw the card....

Barli Shom

Monday, when daddy mummy went to pick you up from day care, Ms Goh told us that you learned something new.

Ms Goh: Kelvin, you tell mummy what you want to order when you go to kopitiam?
Kelvin: barli shom!
Mummy: **puzzled** haha!

Ms Goh said they brought you along to the Farlim's Dmonte branch and you seems enjoy yourself very much at the center event hough it's your first visit there. You were busy playing with the car, super bike...and after that they went to one of the kopitiam nearby Sunshine Farlim for tea break. And...uncle James ordered barli som, and that's where you picked up the new word.

In fact, everytime when we brought you out, mummy will order barli som less sugar, and both of us will share the drink, and you like it so much. I tried to let you take crysanthinum tea, but you hate it, probably i ask for less sugar and it is bitter.

Overall, not so happy with the album, didn't expect the photo studio to crop the photo for the album's cover page. Well well, damage has been done, so no point complain to them. Afterall, hubb said, we WILL NOT go back to that photo studio again for future photo taking, haha!

Time flies...

When i look at,
the way you play at the day care's play area,
the way you walk,
the way you eat,
the way you sleep,
the way you do thing,
the way you communicate with us and with others,
i feel that you look more matured than your actual age. Don't know how to describe the feel, but somehow, i feel that, "gosh, my little one has grown up so much!"

I remember, when i tell people that i send you to nursery at 3rd months, lots of their response were "WHAT?","You Crazy?","Wah!","Are you sure you choose the right place for your baby?"
At one stage, i really wonder whether do i make a right choice or not. But now, i can say, "Nope, i did a correct choice for sending you to nursery!" At nursery, you learned lots of things as you get to interact with others. And you are so lucky that Ms Goh and uncle James always bring you over to the kindy area, so you get to play with all the ke ke jie jie and at the same time pick up some new words, skills and tricks from them.

Recently, you are a bit more cranky than before, some old people said it's because you sensed that mummy is preggie and sibling rivalry being developed in your little mind. And very soon, it will goes away and it will come again when baby is borned. However, mummy sure that you will love your sibling even though sibling rivalry still take place. Remember, as and when mummy asked you to give baby a kiss, you will pat and kiss my tummy.

Whenever you want to listen to story, you will come to mummy, whereas whenever you want to play, you will go to daddy. Seems like you have your own preference on who and what.Nowadays, every night and morning, you will ask mummy to read to you, and you will sit on my lap while mummy read the story to you.

Next Monday will be replacement holiday and yippie, daddy and mummy get to spend time together with you. What's the plan?

Collecting your Photo Album

Today, we will pick up your photo album...yippie!

Daddy keep nagging me asked me to call U-smile and finally...we will be able to collect the album today!Mummy called up U-Smile last Thursday and told them that we are travelling and need the album ASAP, else we need to wait til end of June then only will be able to get it, which is a bit ridiculous huh!

Even though daddy and mummy went for the photo choosing session, but yet we still very anxious to know how the entire album will looks like. I don't expect it will be nicely touched up, but somehow, i expect it to be something presentable and nice. Will see...

And where to go for dinner tonight before heading to Gurney? Mummy don't find there is any good food in Gurney, so probably we will drop by the Tainan Restaurant at One Stop for dinner then only go to Gurney. Hope today's traffic wont be as bad as yesterday.
