Great job, my lil girl

We have been working so hard to teach our lil princess on all those magic word, "please, thank you, sorry, may i" and most of the time, we need to remind her then only she will use those magic word.

Today, on our way back, she asked me to open her toy for her. As usual, i will do it for her and out of our expectation, she said "thank you mummy!" Both me and hubb was shocked, and we asked each other whether did we hear it correctly.

yeah yeah, we didn't hear it wrongly, our lil girl said thank you to me. yippie!!! Finally, she uses the magic word without us asking or remind her. Sweetie pie, good job!

Taiwan Day #8 - Bye Bye

Bye Bye Taiwan...we are leaving Taiwan today after our 8 days 7 nights adventurous and fun trip. This is the photos taken from our room.
There's some mis-communication between the tour guide and the bus driver, so the bus doesn't arrive on time. However, we still able to reach the airport on time. The 2 kids so excited with the in flight service. As soon as they on board to the plane, they started to check every single thing, from the seat to the TV.

As the kids do not really enjoy the in-flight meal, as soon as we touched down Hong Kong, daddy quickly bring the kids to the food court for his favorite noodle. Daddy highly recommend this particular stall as he tasted the noodles during his previous stop over in Hong Kong. Nothing special, it's noodle with prawn dumpling in clear soup. As for me and daddy, we shared one bowl of curry noodle. Yum yum...happy with the food. After food, we proceed to the waiting area to wait for our flight back to Penang.
After another around 3.5 hrs flight, finally, home sweet home. We touched down Penang airport. And here start my another challenge, un-pack and clean up the mess during our 8 days 7 night holiday. Hope both of the kids enjoy their trip. We will plan for next trip in near future :)

Taiwan Day#7

Wow, today is an exciting and tough day for all of us. Why? Because it's a free and easy day. Last night, we had hard time to decide where to go and how to do there. And the final decision is, the whole group will walk to the MRT station instead of taking cab as it's peak hour and we do not want to caught in bad traffic jam.

After around 30 mins, finally, we reached the Taipei International Flora Expo. The expo has 4 area and we only cover 2.5 areas as we are moving around with 2 kids in strollers. But the rest of them covered almost the entire 4 area. We meet up again at the entrance at 3pm. And what's next??

After few mins of debate, we decided to continue our adventure journey to 五分埔 Wu Fen Pu. This place is Taiwan's main wholesales fashion place. I am so excited, but when i checked at most of the clothes, it's too thick for Malaysia's weather. However, i do manage to get 2 doraemon long sleeves shirt for the kids. We spend around 1 hr there and headed back to hotel for shower.

After shower, we meet up again and we are going to Shilin night market for last round of marketing and shopping before leaving Taiwan on the next day.For this time, we no longer had our dinner in the food court, instead, we try out different types of food along the road side. We spend around 2.5 hrs at the night market before call it a night.

It's still not the end for the day as i need to pack all the things into our luggage and man....it's so tough as i need to squeeze the 3 packs of pineapple cakes, and 4 packs of Taiwan muachi at the same time make sure i will not over squeeze all of these. Finally, at close to 12 midnight, i am done with everything. Phew!

Taiwan Day#6

Today, as soon as we open our eyes, we can see ostrich walking around in the garden from our room. (Leofoo Village is a theme park and African themed hotel). I quickly grab my camera and walk around the hotel to snap more pics of the animals.
After breakfast, here are we going today?????
LeoFoo Village theme park!! yeah yeah!! I guess the mummy is the most happiest person in the entire family as she gets to enjoy the rides more than the kids. The kids don't really get to enjoy most of the rides as they are too young for it, especially Kaitlyn. And out of my surprise, Kelvin went for the kid roller coaster and he love it and enjoy the ride very much.
We saw this merry-go-round, and since mummy just down from the this 360 degree turning exciting ride, so daddy gets the privilege to enjoy ur merry-go-round ride with you. The operator asked whether do you want to go for another round, and you said "no, thank you!" phew....daddy almost doze off during the ride with you.You enjoy few rides in the theme park, you glad that you enjoy yourselves very much!
We went around and you saw an ice cream stall, and you asked for it. Since you behave so well during the entire trip, so you get rewarded with one ice cream.
Last but not least, when i bring Kaitlyn out from the washroom, the ice cream seller saw her and give her one FREE ice cream. The girl so happy as she gets to enjoy the ice cream all by herself. Usually we will only get one ice cream for the kids and request them to share among themselves. We leave the park around 1pm and headed to Doraemon at Window on China. both kids quite tired after draining their energy in the theme park, so we don't have much pics taken in the Window on China. both kids so excited seeing Doraemon as this is their current favorite cartoon character.
The next destination after this is Taipei 101 Mall. Because our lunch is on our own and there isn't much choice of oriental meal in both theme park and window on china, so when the kids see so many noodle stalls in Taipei 101 food court, immediately they ask for noodle.
Look at the boy's face...this pic taken outside of Taipei 101 Mall, while waiting for the bus to pick us up for dinner.

Taiwan Day#5

Today, we are going to Sun Moon Lake area. We visited Peacock garden , Man Mo temple before headed to Sun Moon Lake. And, for tonite, we will sleep with animals at LeoFoo village.
We just spend around 30 mins at the Peacock garden, then headed to the Man Mo Temple.
The Wen Wu Temple was constructed on a layout of “3 entries and 3 halls, two wings and two galleries. We are suppose to spend 30 mins in the temple , however, we were amazed with the design of the temple and spend more than 30 mins in it.

We hurried to the restaurant for lunch as we are heading to Sun Moon Lake after lunch.
One of the famous spot at the Sun Moon Lake is, the mushroom herbal egg stall. You will be welcomed by nice aroma of the mushroom herbal egg. This is also the first time my lil girl get exposed to herbal egg and she just love it. Maybe she's hungry. But, after the first try, she just fall in love with hard boiled egg. We spend around 1 hr at there, then start our journey to LeoFoo village to sleep with animals. As usual, we reached the hotel in the late evening, and the sky turn dark, so we don't really get to see some of the animals. However, there is night performance organized by the hotel, so at least, we get something to entertain us at night. So far, this is the best hotel that we ever stay throughout the trip. Look at the big pillows, so comfy. After we changed ourselves, we proceed to the hotel lobby area for the night performance. This is the story telling room, but too bad, the story is in mandarin and both kids do not understand it. So they don't really enjoy with the activities. Instead, they choose to run outdoor in the cooling environment.
Night performance start at 830pm, and my poor girl dare not get near the performer for photo. She kept telling us she scared. The weather at the night is so cooling, and while the wind blow, we get to enjoy the "welcoming aroma"from the animals. But luckily, the smell is not so bad. We headed back to the room around 930pm as we will have another exiting day tomorrow.

Taiwan Day #4

Every morning, our room's phone will ring by 6am! Yes, we need to get ourselves ready, headed for breakfast and most of the time, we will leave for next destination at around 8:15am. However, for today, our first activity will be fruit picking at the Shangrila Leisure farm, so we can take our own sweet time and enjoy the breakfast.

I love the scenery from top of the hill. Again, Kaitlyn busy eating the orange while Kelvin busy picking oranges. The 2 kids even take the challenge crossing the hanging bridge.
We leave Shangrila Leisure farm around 10am and headed to our next destination, 九份. Per the tour guide's advice, we headed to the famous shop for their beef noodle and dumpling.According to the tour guide, even during normal day, this place also quite crowded. As we are strolling the kids along the walkway, so our movement a bit slow. Even walking without stroller also very hard, not to mention how hard we are with stroller, especially when we want to come out from the shop. Once u get into one of the shops, u will have to wait for the traffic to slow down, then only we able to push the stroller on the walkway again. We meet up again with the rest at 1pm, and headed to next destination.

The next destination is, 野柳地質公園- Yehliu Geological Park. Yehliu Geopark is famous for its sea-erosion landscape. One of the popular landscape in the park is the Queen's head rock. It's is the iconic landmark for the region.

Tonight's dinner is at ShihLin night market, what to eat?? Of course, the fried oyster, white bitter gourd and smelly toufu is a must to try. But, since i am eating with the 2 kids, so i didn't order the smelly toufu as i don't want to spoil their appetite. The fried oyster is different style as what we have in Penang. Both Taiwan and Penang's fried oyster has their own specialty.
We wanted to have a short walk at the night market across the food court, however, as soon as we step out of the food court, realized that it's drizzling out there. So we just walk around inside the food court and we found this game stall. Kelvin gets so excited when we asked whether he would like to play the shooting game. He managed to go for 2 rounds of shooting game and win a small present.
It's time to go home and have a warm bath, so we say bye bye to the night market and headed back to hotel for good night sleep.

Taiwan Day#3

After breakfast at Master Bear Resort, we start our journey to Sansiantai - 三仙台. The place is very nice, and the 2 kids enjoy the sea breeze very much. Both of them do not seems get annoyed by the strong wind. They even open their hand wide saying that they are enjoying, LOL! I love listen to the sound of the wave, it sounds so calming to me. Yes, i know, sea isn't something that can offer calming. There's actually 8 arches further down from where we stop for photo taking which will lead to 3 huge rocks.
The next stop after Sansiantai is Shihtiping, it's one of the scenic spots in the Eastern Shore.
We stopped at Shitiping for about 15 mins, then proceed for lunch. And the activity after lunch suppose to be a long walk at the Taroko National Park, however, when we got there, the tour guide found out that part of the national park's walkway is under maintenance, so we only get to walk for a short distance.
While waiting and taking photo, noticed the following warning sign.Instead of passking quickly, i slow down my speed and take the pic of the warning sign. As people behind me walking real fast, so this is the best shot that i can get.

Our next destination is, Yilan Shagrila Leisure farm. As the road from HuaLian to YiLan, Su-Hua Highway, still under maintenance due to the landslide and the road condition still not very safe yet, so we took train. However, the poor bus driver needs to drive alone and pick us up at Yilan train station, the driving journey will be around 2 hr and 30 mins.

Our train is at 4:40pm, and the journey is around 1 hr and 30 mins. We arrived at Yi Lan train station around 5:30pm and we just wondering around at the train station waiting for our bus to arrive and bring us to Shangrila Leisure Farm.

We reached Shangrila Leisure farm around 7pm, and quickly settle down and headed for dinner as there will be some activities for the guests at 8pm. There is a big crowd at Shangrila Leisure Farm, so we don't get to enjoy the activities so much as compare to our stay at Master Bear Resort. While me and Kelvin participate in the 汤圆, dumpling, making session , daddy and Kaitlyn went for bubble playing but the equipment seems too heavy for the kid. I brought Kelvin to join with them after we are done with the dumpling.
We let the kids mess up themselves at the bubble playing area before we call it a night.

My 2 sweethearts
