Wedding Ceremony in church

Today, mummy brought you to the church (The Cathedral of the Holy Spirit) ,my ex-schoolmate, Aunty Catherine, gets married. The ceremony started at 11:30am and we were suppose to be there by 11am. However, you slept until 11:05am :)After changed into your safari overall, we headed to the church. When we reached there, it's already 11:35am, the bride and groom already in the church and the ceremony has started.

You were so excited and you even "scream" and "shout" in the church. Luckily you didn't scream and shout loud :) You were quite cooperate, maybe you were enjoying the song played in the church. During the ceremony, you can't stop yourself from exploring the church. You won't be able to walk around by yourself, so you make daddy to carry you, walk around. Thank god, you didn't insist us to bring your tour around the hall, else we may get chase out from the church. (no no, don't worry, they all are nice people...!)

The ceremony lasted for 30mins, it's a short one. Initially, mummy worried that it will be a long ceremony, i even asked Uncle KT how the ceremony will be as this is mummy's first time attending church wedding. After the ceremony, we had photo taking session. Daddy has to take care you for a while as mummy was busy chit chatting with friends. The lunch reception is right after the church ceremony, however, you didn't get to follow us to the restaurant. We then drop you back to Ah Kong's house.

Luckily we didn't bring you along to the lunch reception as there is some problem with the aircond in Corner Club, all of us feel a bit warm and kept complaining and the place also a bit crowded. But overall, it's ok for us, and i could be not ok for you as you will still sweat when we turn on air cond at home.

I HATE mosquito!!

This morning when i look at you, omigosh...you had one mosquito bite on the right side of your face, so i quickly let daddy look at it. While i put you down into your cot, i noticed, left side of your face also had a small red spot. So quickly, i apply fucicort for you, and....OMIGOSH, there is additional 2 more bites, one at the nose and one at eye lid. Daddy so upset and kept scolding the mosquito!! I think the mosquito must be SUPER HUNGRY and can't find any target as mummy already wake up from the bed(usually mummy is the victim, good in attracting mosquito) so end up, you are the target of the super hungry mosquito. Luckily you very cooperate, you let me wipe your face with warm water and let me apply the cream for you.

Suddenly, i saw you sitting sideway and stop all the activities that you are doing. I guess should be poo poo-ing. And i am right, you poo-pooed! So quickly we change diaper for you and we need to be super careful, as daddy already dress up and ready to go to work....and you are a GOOD boy, you didn't move around like worm, instead you sleep on the bed and let mummy clean your bum bum for you. Hmm, how come you didn't move around when your diaper is off from you? Coz, daddy distracted you with your toy...hahahahaha

Then, daddy brought you down to the car while mummy cleaning up the mess. When i got into the car, you lay in my arm and show me your manja look, SSSSSSSSOOOOOOOOO SSSSSSWWWWWWWWWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEETTTTT!! Make me feel guilty for leaving you at the nursery.

Now is 3:30pm, another 2 hr time, i will on my way to pick you up. See you later, baby!

Follow-Up check-up

hahaha...guess what...yesterday we had a pre-planned short gathering with Evan Koh Koh at Adventist Paed clinic.

We had a "date" with Dr Mary, a follow up check up for your post admission. And so coincident,Evan koh koh also had "date" with Dr Mary for his MMR jab. Night clinic super pack, the waiting area so crowded, so we choose to let you play at the OB waiting area. While daddy playing with you at the OB waiting area, Aunty Angeline walk in with Evan koh koh. We were a bit earlier that Evan koh koh, there is 9 ppl before your turn, and 11 ppl before Evan koh koh.
And...while all of us waiting in Paed waiting area, we suddenly see aunty Cath...here some, she and her 2 lovely daughters.

You were so energetic, kept wanting us to carry you around, and you show us your eagerness to try on the slide. Until one point......i noticed daddy no longer carry you around, instead he let you play with the table...yes, u push and pull the table. Daddy told me he is exhausted, cannot carrying you around. So, mummy took over the carrying role for short while. Luckily, not too long, it's your turn to see Dr Mary.

This time, you didn't make noise when Dr Mary check on you, except you don't feel comfortable when she wanna check on your throat. No pneumococoa jab for you, Dr Mary postpone it to next month.

On our way back, you decided to do something FUN! It's fun for you but not for me :(
You decided to stand up and refuse to sit still on the car seat. Well, you wont be able to stand up by yourself, but you will borrow some strength from others to help you stand up. So, mummy lose to you, i carried you and let you stand by the window. While we were at the traffic light at Pesta, suddenly, you lost balance and your forehead hit on the window. "WAHHHHHHHHH....." you cried out loud. Mummy's heart sank as you never cry so loud when you hit yourself while you were playing. I guess partly because you are tired. Mummy suddenly recall what my colleague told me about letting baby latch on to calm them down while they are crying. And you did stop crying after that, then, you continue to stand by the window and enjoy yourself again.

My new cap

Tuesday, mummy went to QB for lunch with Aunty Angeline and Uncle Ben, coz mummy wanna get you a new cap for tonight's photo session. Aunty Angeline even brought me 2 caps just in case i can't find anyone from QB.

We had lunch at Dome and then proceed to Baby Gap to check out for the cap. Mummy managed to get one while cap for you. Aunty Angeline then said wanna go to have a look at Hallmark, end up, mummy bought you one set of "super valuable, reasonable" shirt and pant. I can't believe it when the cashier told me it's RM10 for the whole set.

We went to France Taipei right after pick you up from nursery. When we reached there, we still ahead of time. Our appointment is at 7pm. Mummy had a slight arguement with the lady, but forget about it, not worth to talk about this lady.

The photographer quite nice. He took quite a lot of your pics. You didn't smile while he took your pic. Well, usually you will show us your cool look when mummy try to take your pic too, so this is expected. Surprises me, you know how to pose yourself. You even lay down on the floor, sleep on your chest. Ended up, the poor photographer koh koh also need to sleep on his chest to take your pic. Then, he asked whether we want to have few naked pic of you or not. OF COURSE, YES!! hahahaha....so quickly, mummy and daddy take off your overall pants, shirt, left only the pull up pant :) I think the session last for about 15 to 20 mins, then you start to whine, look for mummy and show me your hand, want me to carry you. The photographer call off the session before you yell at us...hahahaha

The photo choosing will be on 7.7.07....too bad, it's not 7pm though, it's 2pm. Hmm....wonder how many photos i will choose then :)

FoR tHe FiRsT tImE ....!

Mummy loves this song very much...We are not going to discuss about this song in this posting...but am going to jot down something about you.

Everything has it's first time:) Yesterday was your FIRST TIME crossing the Penang Bridge ever since you were born. After struggling on where to bring Ah Kong for his belated Father's day celebration, daddy finally suggest why not we go to Prai's Starview for lunch as he kept telling me the 东坡肉 served at Prai Starview is yummie. And mummy never says NO to food, so ALL DONE!

Sunday, after usual phone call from Uncle Kenny, we headed to Prai. You were so excited and won't let anyone carry you, except Ah Kong. As Ah Kong drove along the bridge, you were busy playing with your toys. Mummy has to pack lots of toys for you as you will easily get bored with one toy.

When we were in the restaurant, i was shocked seeing the baby chair that they prepared for you. It was BIG!!! And mummy have to put your bag behind you as cushion for you. As soon as the waitress pass the menu to daddy and mummy, you grab daddy's menu and hold on to it. And....you stared at the waitress while she's talking to us. Your expression sort like "ok, what you plan to recommend to us?" The waitress can't stop looking at you and keep laughing as your facial expression really cute :)

While waiting for the dishes, mummy fed you your yummie lunch prepared by ME :) And, the waitress come back to our table and play with you as you kept looking at her when she walk pass by our table. Hmm...maybe you confuse a bit as her hair look like Aunty Margerat...haha!
Surprises us, you even let her carry you for a short while. While all of us enjoying our lunch, i gave you the baby bite biscuit to keep you occupied. Thank god, you very cooperative, you were busy eating cum playing with the biscuit...so means more outing for you huh! :) Good job, baby!

After lunch, we brought you to Megamall for a short walk. You started to be a bit cranky on the way back as you feel sleepy. As soon as we reach home, we let you change to a more comfy wear and let you sleep...straight, you slept for 2 hrs plus! wow!

Regret that mummy didn't jot down all of your progress in my diary. I thought i can remember all of them. Yes, i did remember all of them but i can't remember it happen in which month. :)

My superglue

My little boy now become superglue to me.

Ever since May he become the permanent resident for our QUEEN size bed. He will sleep in between us and worst still, he tend to sleep close to me. End up, i gotta squeeze myself towards his baby cot. Sometime i thought of sleep in his baby cot. U think his cot can take my weight? hahaha!

Nowadays, me and Terence need to wake up a bit earlier than our usual time. Why? Coz this little one, he will wake up whenever he feels that noone is sleeping beside him, then he will start making noise, want us to carry him. So, one of us have to wake up a bit early, shower, then standby just in case he wakes up and look for either of us. Today is the first day i wake up earlier than Terence. Surprise leh, usually i'm the one who will wake up later than Terence. Went to kitchen to prepare some milk just in case Kelvin wakes up and ask for latch while me busy preparing myself for work. Sudden;y i heard crying sound from the room. Geez, little Vin wakes up already. Quickly, i warm the milk and rushed into the room, quickly pop the milk into his mouth. "chup chup chup" within few seconds, he finished the milk and as soon as i pull the bottle away he cried like i beat him badly. So how to calm him down? Our most powerful weapon,

Duh...u thought me have any super secret to share is it..haha. He latches for about 5 mins. Geez, he is so hungry huh! Thank god, after that, he goes to his dreamland.

And another challenge is, to wake him up!!! So as soon as i finished with my preparation, i will sing "Good morning to you, good morning to you, good morning Kelvin Boy, good morning to you!!!

Sometime it works and sometime it doesn't. So if he pretend not hearing the song, i have to sit beside him, slowly pat pat his bum bum, rubbing his head.....talking to him to wake him up. Then the daddy will carry him to the car meanwhile me carrying the big bag small bag that contains his and our stuff. Then, we will drop him at nursery.

And, he will become superglue to me again when he wanna sleep at night. Good excuse for me to sleep early too....will tell hubby that i wanna sleep early coz "Vin boy want me to sleep with him" haha! Terence will be away for biz trip in July, i hope i can handle Kelvin ALL BY MYSELF! Wish me luck then!

My little mischievous is back in action!!

Thanks to everyone for the wishes, my little Kelvin is slowing recovering now.

For the whole day of yesterday, he is shouting,screaming,yelling happily at home. Kelvin woke up around 8am and since i'm still sleepy, (yes, this mummy loves sleeping very much) so i tried to make him continue to sleep, and around 30 mins later, he wake up again, and start saying "wah....". This is what little Vin will say if he has enough sleep. So i put him beside hubby and he starts to roll here and there, uses his legs to kick daddy...do all sorts of thing to wake both of us up. So, guess who win at the end, of course our little boy win.

I am so happy seeing him so active. And since he's super active for the whole day, i know i'm going to have hard time making him sleep at night and i am right. When everyone saw him rubbing his eyes with hands, everyone told me " soon he will fall asleep when he reached home!". Confidently, i told them "nope, he will definately ask us to play with him for at least 30 mins before he sleeps". And of course mummy win! When we brought him back to our Pooh Wonderland, hubb put him on our bed and i nursed him, and he refuses to sleep..roll here roll there and suddenly "thudd...." he knocked himself on his baby cot's rail. Quickly, i carry him, and here come the manja boy. As soon as i carried him, he start crying softly. I gentle rub his head and hold him in my arm, nurse him. Within a minute, he sleeps soundly in my arm. What a lovely boy!

Again, this morning, Vin wake up around 7:05am. Gosh, it's the time that i'm ready for shower. So i have to entertain him for a while. He tried to look at me from the baby cot rail, so i squat down and stand up for couple of time to play with him. When i squatted down and he accidentally hit his forehead to the cot's rail. This time, i shouted again. I am not suppose to, but it's natural reaction what :p . So no need to tell, of course he cried. So quickly, i carried him, and gosh, there is some redness on the forehead. Luckily, he can get distracted quite easy, so i carry him and show him other toys, then he kept quiet but he want me to carry him. So i gotta wait for hubb to finish his shower then only i can have mine.

And......this morning, he made special "breakfast" for us......he poo-ed! And somehow rather, hubb's pant get decorated with one small dot from the poo, so quickly we gotta change for Vin then only hubb gets to change his pant, else he will have the poo perfume for the rest of the day.

I hope he will be stronger and stronger, healthier and healthier, cuter and cuter,naughtier and naughtier....bla bla and bla bla ........i love u baby :)

I misses your mischievousness!

Yday, when i picked you up, Aunty Margerat said you had running nose. Gosh.....heart sank again

I miss the mischievous time spend with you, your mischievous smile, your mischievous action..i misses all of these.



These few days, you were down with flu, running nose,cough, and fever. I wish i can take this away from you, i don't mind to take away all these sickness from you and had it myself. I can feel that you feel very tired after the medication, however, sometime, you still very playful after medication, refuse to sleep. Yesterday night, after night feed, you refuse to sleep, in fact, you kept clapping your hand, and when i sang to you, you rolled close to me, try to hug me. Yes, my baby know how to hug me. You will put your hand on my shoulder and i will hug you close and you will put your face on my chest. So sweet.....

I am looking forward to see your happy smile again.....

Dancing Vin!

By looking at the title itself..guess what you did!

Yesterday when mummy picked you up, Aunty Margerat happily and excitedly told me "Kelvin dance when we let him listen to music" hahaha...actually mummy did notice that you shake your body when you were playing with the Fisher Price musical toy. And if daddy let you listen to the pee-ka-boo toy's music, you will shake your whole body happily. Too bad, no chance to snap any video of you shaking your "fat tummy". When we were waiting for daddy to pick us up at Adventist's lobby, you "invite" the guard to dance and clap with you. You clapped your hands and catched his attention, so the uncle clapped his hand too and you were happily moving your whole body. Mummy have to hold on to you tight, afraid you may get too excited and fall off from my hands. No worry, i will try my best tonite to capture your dancing video.

You had bug bite and yesterday we brought you to see Dr Tan. Daddy told him about the phlegm and guess what..when we were about to leave the clinic, you cough and finally Dr Tan managed to listen to the coughing sound with phlegm. And as a result, one addition medicine being prescribe by him to you. Dr Tan played with you and while he's talking to mummy, you tried to pull his book, very busy pulling things and hitting the table.

Don't know what, yesterday nite you a bit grouchy and everytime when you turn around on the bed, you will cry. Mummy will have to either hug you close and tight to me or let you sleep in my arm. And you kept telling me "eh eh", so middle of the nite, i brought you to toilet, but no output. Hmm..the "eh eh" means hungry? Second guess, then i nursed you, and you latch for a while, then sleep...the wake up, nursing, wake up, nursing happened very frequent yesterday. I hope you just manja and not because you are not feeling well.

Happy Birthday, mummy!

I am writing this on behalf of you. Well, this is not the first time i wrote something on behalf. The first time was tagged by Evan's mummy to tell something about you. Mummy going to tell something about you again? No no no..

Today is mummy's birthday. My 2nd birthday with you. First birthday, you still enjoying your time in my womb and now , you are here with me :) Too bad, we can't go out for dinner as you are not feeling well. Oh yeah, by the way, Aunty Angeline's wedding anniversary is same day as mummy's birthday. And...daddy and mummy's wedding anniversary is one day after Aunty Angeline's birthday.

Hmm..initially our plan is, daddy, mummy and Aunty Angeline will go for Bak Kut Teh dinner meanwhile Uncle Ben will look after you and Evan koh koh..but at last, we call off the plan as Evan koh koh not feeling well too...hahahaha.....no no, it's not true, mummy and Aunty Angeline like to talk nonsense at work :p We always make deicision without consulting daddy and Uncle Ben.

Around 9am, i received phone call from Eden Florist, telling me i have a bouquet of flower. I had some hard time telling the person as not long ago, Agilent has it's own entrance and people always confuse between the new Agilent entrace with old entrace (Avago entrance).

Anyhow, finally, i managed to give instruction to her to leave the flower at the building lobby where mummy work at. Then i pull one of my colleagues to go down collect the flower. Surprises me, this time, daddy did something different than before. There is one cute little teddy bear sitting at middle of the 12 roses. Cool, finally, daddy become more creative huh.

Everyone said the flower is nicely packed and the packing is special. And where did we go for the birthday celebration? No where, at home. We decided to postpond the birthday celebration til you fully recover, so that daddy and mummy feel more comfortable and able to enjoy our food better while eating out.

Teething?Bad Weather?

Guess what....today, when mummy picked you up, surprises me, you were sleeping in the play pen. **Usually, you will be busy moving around in walker, or someone (either teacher, the uncle or kakak) will be carrying you walking around** Hmm...i smell that something not right, and geez, mother instinct is so powerful (a bit perasan huh), aunty Margaret told me you had fever! They felt you a bit heaty after i dropped you in the morning and they fed you paracetamol. Poor boy. The fever actually subside in the afternoon and came again in the evening. Without second guess, me and Aunty Margerat decided to give you another round of PCM.

Half way, i felt that your body is so heaty and gosh, i only realised that i left the ear themometer at our apt. I told daddy that we should turn back and get the Bye Bye fever patch. And thank god, we made the correct decision. After putting the patch, your fever went down pretty fast. Initially i thought you will be sleepy after PCM and mummy actually want to let you latch on and sleep, who knows, you latched for a while and start clapping your hand. Actually, daddy and me feel so relief when we saw you clapping hands. This means you feel better already :)

After you woke up from evening nap, i let you play on floor mat and guess what...it's the first time we heard you say "Pa Pa" loud and clear. We kept imitating you saying "Pa Pa" and you responded back with "Pa Pa" non stop. Too bad, daddy was having dinner with friend and he don't have chance to enjoy the fun moment. I bet he will be in cloud nine when he heard you calling him.

When daddy came back, mummy asked you to call him and you refused to. However, on our way back, out of sudden, you started to call him again. You "Pa Pa", "Pa Pa" non stop for few times and daddy so happy. I think he feel proud of you too :)

Well done baby!! And Hope you will get well soon.

First time using my potty

Finally, you used your dolphin potty.

You showed me the sour face halfway eating your carrot porridge, maybe carrot porridge doesn't taste nice :( , so i decided to stop feeding you. After playing for a while, you make noise and all of us thought that you are tired as you woke up around 12 noon. Yet, you still non stop grumbling in cradle and i decided to give you some milk. When i passed the milk to you, you were so happy and kept laughing while drinking it. Suddenly Ah Ma found that you stop all the activites and guess what...you "kek sai". Actually you kept ssaying "eh eh" and i thought u just want us to carry you as sometime u will "trick" us :p But who knows, this time you really wanna "eh eh". Sorry, baby :) What a good boy, give signal to us when you wanna poo poo. *muah muah*

So quickly, we moved you out from the cradle and i insisted to let you sit on the potty. With the help from Ah Kong, you poo-ed in the potty. I wanted to take photo of you while you "kek sai", but i didn't as i need to sit beside you give you support, Ah Kong need to hold on to you, Ah Ma need to keep wiping your sweat and poor Daddy need to make your Pee-ka-boo toy working in order to keep you well entertained while you are doing your big business. After a while, there come the aroma and we let you sit on potty for a while just in case there is more to come. When i saw you kicking your legs, we think you should be done with your big business and we washed your bum bum. Yes, no longer using wet tissue, must wash with pipe water, as now your poo poo smell real "nice" :p

After that, you finished up the remaining milk and proceed to your dreamland :)

Free Photo Shooting session - part 2

yippie....finally got the schedule for the free photo shooting.
It will be on 13th Jun at 7:30pm. Hope you will sleep well in school and wont be so grouchy at evening so that you will give your best pose during the photo session :)

Mummy tried to get the lady to let us have the photo session on tomorrow as tomorrow both me and daddy off from work, but too bad, fully booked already. So we will stick to 13th Jun.

Free Photo Shooting session - part 1

Tuesday, Jing Ee's mummy told us about France Taipei's free photo shooting promotion. So immediately, i asked her to help me check and register for you. But too bad, Jing Ee mummy get stucked in office and didn't get to go to France Taipei to register for you. The next day, she asked me to call up and book the seat first and she will help me to register at night. Wow, light at the end of the tunnel! Ching Ern's mummy going to France Taipei during lunch time and aunty Angeline told me there is one more space in the car and i can go along too! Yippie..am so excited! So quick quick express milk and walk bak to my place and grab my wallet then wait for them at Building E entrance, where mummy's office is.

So, we reached France Taipei around 11:30am. By the way, this is where daddy and mummy took our wedding photos. We spend about 20 mins there, fill up the form and asked the lady to show us the costumes. The lady a bit reluctant to show us and Ching Ern's Mummy kept sort like persuading her and at last, she brought us to have a look at the costumes. Too bad, Vin boy, nothing suitble for you. So you will be wearing your own clothes, ok! Never mind, we will go elsewhere for another photo shots when you are 1 yr old. Then you can wear nice and cute costumes :)

The photo session is 30 mins only, so don't expect much as we need lots of time to make the baby pose, make the baby smile, make the baby look at the camera bla bla.....am so excited! This is the first time i send you to photo studio for photo shooting.

Told daddy about the photo session and he just warned me that France Taipei may make us develop more, buy photo frame from them bla bla.....Oh....the free 8R photo that they give away is without frame,and i assure him that we will get the photo frame from elsewhere which the price is reasonable and the frame is nicer. To develop additional photo, the charge is RM10 for 5R photo. We will see huh! Besides i told daddy about Aspial's package that Aunty Angeline told me. "RM188 for 21 pics put in album 5x7 "
Hmm. and guess what, daddy said will have a real photo session for you after you turn 1 yr old! Hurray!

Finally, you poo-poo

We gets worry as you didn't do your big business for 2 days. You had light fever since Friday and the fever come and go. On Sunday, Ee-Poh managed to make you poo and Monday you didn't poo no matter how we "ehmmmmm ehmmmm" you. You will smile at us as if you are telling us " eh, what are you trying to do to me?"

Tuesday, when i pick you up from school, teacher Chuah also worry that you didn't poo for a day as you usually poo everyday. And she said she will cook porridge with bayam for you.

After we dropped you at Ah Kong's house and play with you for a while, Daddy and mummy went to Queensbay Mall as daddy has appointment with friend at there and *ahem*, mummy take the opportunity go there for shopping. Managed to get you some clothes from Enfant and a toy from ToySRus. Hmm, seems like everytime, when we leave you at home for too long, we will buy something for you to compensate back ^_^ (just to make myself not so guilty)

And when we got home, everyone so excited, why? Because you poo-pooed!!! You seems like happier after that too....hmm..because you released those excess baggage of yours right? Hahaha....

When i showed you your new toys, you were so excited and push your old toys aside.Hope this toy will keep you busy and excited for few days before i find another new toy for you.

You scared me again!

Friday evening, we felt that your body a bit heaty. We suspect you are teething again as recently you drool again....

When we got home, mummy fed you some paracetamol and let you sleep. You seems unable to sleep well throughout the night, kept turn yourself here and there and whine. I put the "Bye Bye fever" patch on your forehead, to cool your body a bit. During your next feed of paracetmol, which is 4:30am, daddy and i felt that your body still a bit warm. And worst still, you cried when i fed you with the medication and this make your body even warmer. And at last, we decided to bring you to see doc as mummy called up Adventist's Emergency room to ask whether should i use suppository, and the staff nurse advised me to bring you over and let the medical officer have a look at you. Quickly, we pack all the neccesity and headed to hospital. You fall asleep in the car.

When we were in the Emergency room, another shock for me, the nurse ter-read the scale and told daddy that your weight is 7.8kg! When daddy told me, i almost scream out, NO WAY!! It's IMPOSSIBLE!! And i asked for re-scale, and phew, it's 8.4kg. Sounds more reasonable to me!
When daddy let you lay down on the bed in ER, you so excited and kept moving your hands and legs.

The medical officer checked on you and he said you are so active, and he don't think we need to do any other thing besides feeding paracetamol and sponge you. Just to get confirmation that you are ok, then again we headed back. You didn't sleep well though and wake up around 8am and refuse to sleep back. We tried all trick, and you just kept playing and playing....

We dropped you at Ah Kong's house around 11:30am and bath you....and you sleep straight til 4pm..what a long nap.

Hmm..we've been bring you out on the past 2 Saturday and this Saturday, sorry no outing as you are not feeling well.

Anyone , any remedy to help bb go thru teething without fever? i wish i have way to help my little baby to go thru teething process better and happier. Feeding him medicine, seeing him cry is not a fun process
