Today, we are going to Sun Moon Lake area. We visited Peacock garden , Man Mo temple before headed to Sun Moon Lake. And, for tonite, we will sleep with animals at LeoFoo village.
We just spend around 30 mins at the Peacock garden, then headed to the Man Mo Temple.
The Wen Wu Temple was constructed on a layout of “3 entries and 3 halls, two wings and two galleries. We are suppose to spend 30 mins in the temple , however, we were amazed with the design of the temple and spend more than 30 mins in it.
We hurried to the restaurant for lunch as we are heading to Sun Moon Lake after lunch.
One of the famous spot at the Sun Moon Lake is, the mushroom herbal egg stall. You will be welcomed by nice aroma of the mushroom herbal egg. This is also the first time my lil girl get exposed to herbal egg and she just love it. Maybe she's hungry. But, after the first try, she just fall in love with hard boiled egg. We spend around 1 hr at there, then start our journey to LeoFoo village to sleep with animals. As usual, we reached the hotel in the late evening, and the sky turn dark, so we don't really get to see some of the animals. However, there is night performance organized by the hotel, so at least, we get something to entertain us at night. So far, this is the best hotel that we ever stay throughout the trip. Look at the big pillows, so comfy. After we changed ourselves, we proceed to the hotel lobby area for the night performance. This is the story telling room, but too bad, the story is in mandarin and both kids do not understand it. So they don't really enjoy with the activities. Instead, they choose to run outdoor in the cooling environment.
Night performance start at 830pm, and my poor girl dare not get near the performer for photo. She kept telling us she scared. The weather at the night is so cooling, and while the wind blow, we get to enjoy the "welcoming aroma"from the animals. But luckily, the smell is not so bad. We headed back to the room around 930pm as we will have another exiting day tomorrow.
