Seeing you sleep so sweetly in your car seat on our way back to our apt last night, mummy suddenly feels that my baby boy has grown up. Time flies. You look so so so mature to mummy. Cant deny that mummy is getting older and older by each day J
Knowing mummy is sick daddy taking care you last night, you didn’t make noise throughout the night.
This morning when daddy said “bye bye” to you, you cried again. Seems like you are able to recognize people. As mummy said to you, don’t worry, mummy love you, mummy will pick u up after work.
Thursday is public holiday, mummy will accompany you throughout the day J
Daddy will take care you foranother night then mummy should be able to take care you from tomorrow night onwards. Mummywill take good care of myself so that I can take care you better. Today mummy need to pour away those breast milk that being expressed because mummy is taking the fever medicine, antibiotic and paracetemol. Mummy afraid u may allergy to the antibiotic, so play safe, A bit wasted as yesterday when mummy went for Teambuilding lunch at Traders Hotel, mummy took lots of sashimi to boost up my milk supply, who kows, I have to pour them away.Anyhow, as long as baby is healty, mummy willing to sacrify anything, JUST FOR YOU, MY SWEETHEART!

Kelvin:I am so happy sitting on the stroller and let daddy push me around. We went to Borders, Jaya Jusco , Toy R Us. At Toy R Us, daddy and mummy showed me the Fisher price toy. It's so amazed, when i press on it, there is lots of sounds.
Mummy : Dear baby, you make noise on and off , poor daddy need to carry you. But both of us enjoy bringing you out :)

Happy Sunday
Dear Baby,
When mummy back from uncle Teng Seng's wedding lunch buffet at Kuala Muda, mummy showed you the door gift ~ hat that i got from the wedding, you were so excited and happy seeing it. You are co cute, can get excited with anything new to you :) Maybe this is baby world huh, can get excited easily as lots of things are actually new to you :) How mummy wish i can bring u along to the wedding, but no, it's too hot there.
This morning,you were so excited when ah kong carry you to the garden behind the house. You were so amazed with the moving leaves and you were "talking" to the leaves...hahaha
When wind blows on you, you feel so happy and keep moving your legs and hands. You even talked to the "keat lah"
Mummy plan to bring you to Queensbay Mall this afternoon :)

Seperation Anxiety ?
Dear baby kelvin of mine,
Are you having separation anxiety? No worry honey :) Dear baby, 傻孩子, don't worry, mummy won't leave you alone. You are my 心肝宝贝.
Tonite we will stay in Minden Height as tomorrow morning mummy going to Kula Muda with friends to attend friend's wedding. So mummy will need to leave house quite early for breakfast before we heading to Kuala Muda. In order not to move you here and there while you are sleeping, so daddy and mummy decided to sleep in Ah Kong's house.
Daddy will accompany you tomorrow while mummy attending the wedding lunch.
You are wonderful to me!
Yday when aunt help u to change pajamas, you saw daddy take your bag from the room, you cried too.

Super baby
Dear Kelvin,
What happen to you baby? You cried when daddy say bye bye to you this morning. You tired?
We slept in ah kong's house yesterday night. You woke up at 4am for milk and refuse to go back to sleep. You were looking at mummy when mummy expressing milk milk for you :) Mummy tried to make you sleep but failed, so mummy has to carry you out from the room so that daddy can get good rest. Ah ma heard your voice and came out from her room...end up ah kong gotta take care you as ah ma is sick....so mummy went back to have a short nap at 5:30am before the alarm clock ring at 6am. When mummy wake up this morning, you are in cradle and your eyes open big big...hahaha...u r so cute!
Mummy cant wait to pick u up from nursery, but now it's only 8:45am....more more hours to go.

Dear baby,
You must be missing daddy and mummy so much. Yesterday night, you sleep and wake up, sleep and wake up, and you keep on talking when you are awake. Too bad, daddy and mummy too tired, so we can't talk with you. I'm so sorry baby.
This morning, daddy found out that your tummy has wind again..and daddy massage for you:)
You were so excited when mummy carry you to the lift. You want to touch on the buttons. Nope, baby, the buttons are dirty and you like to put your hands into your mouth.....^_^

Good morning, my baby
Dear little angel of mine,
You wake up at 4am and smile soooooo sooooo sweet with me. At first, mummy don't want to talk to you because i am not suppose to talk to you when you wake up middle of the night, but somehow, you throw me a sweeeeeet smile. After mummy finish expressing breast milk, mummy play with you for a while, and apprently mummy fall asleep :) You continue to sleep at around 5am.
This morning, when i wake daddy up at around 6:55am, you wake up at the same time too. Mummy breastfed you for a while and you slept in my arm, when i put you on the bed, you open your eyes and smile at me again, notty boy huh!You lay down on the bed and play all by yourself til you feel bored and want a hug...too bad, daddy and mummy were busy prepraring ourselves to go to work, so you were screaming, yelling...bla bla.....and guess what! You scream and yell because you poo pooooooo..oops.....After mummy change diaper for you, you ask for hug ^_^
Daddy gotta carry you as mummy busy putting "ICI" on the face ma...hahaha

Notty Boy!
Dear baby,
What happen to you last nite? You wake up almost every one hour and cry with your eyes closed. Your tummy not feeling well? I guess so. When daddy hit on your tummy, we can hear the "pong pong" sound, got wind inside :( Yday nite you slept in the living room, daddy and mummy need to move u back into the room, luckily you didn't cry out loud when daddy carry you, good boy:)
This morning, when mummy wake you up with your favourite song, "Do Re Mi, you greeted mummy with your sweet smile and mummy breastfed you before send you to nursery.

Yesterday nite, you were busy kicking mummy's agilent lunch bag and when aunt carry you, you saw Mimi and you were so excited, your hand and leg keep on moving. Baby, it's still early, you are too young to play with Mimi. No hurry, very soon, u can play with all the doggies!!!

what a relief...pheww
Dear baby,
so happy that you are up and kicking now. Youe fever has subsided, however, there is some wind in your tummy. AhKong helped you to massage tummy this morning and surprise me, you let ah kong massage for you. So means, there is really lots of wind inside your tummy and make you feel uncomfy. You were actually very crankly and ask for cuddle throughout yday whole night. Mummy's hand pain so daddy gotta carry you on and off throughout the night. You cried for no reason when mummy put you down on the bed. You've been co-bed with daddy and mummy since mummy started to work ^_^, so it's alomost time for you to sleep back all by yourself in your cot.
This mjorning, mummy want to take your picture and you suddenly stop all your movement, look at my camera, you are so cute :) And all of sudden, your movement become slow motion..hahaha . Sorry, mummy have to leave you at ah kong's house as mummy need to go back to our house to attend weekend meeting.

Fever Part II
Dear Baby,
Glad to see that you are feeling better this morning. Yesterday midnite you gave mummy another shock! Your temperature was 38.6 degree. Mummy did think of admitting you to Adventist if your heat still not reduce.
You throw out the fever medicine that mummy fed you at 8:30pm. And probably this reason, your fever gone up again. It's mummy's fault. Mummy fed you milk to soon after the fever medicine and mummy didn't burp you after that. Furthermore, mummy try to make u sleep sideway and you refused. There is too much movement after your milk milk time. The next thing is, you throw out everything. Poor baby, the medicine + milk even came out from your nose and you were crying in shock.Mummy quickly sing your favourite song, "Do Re Mi" and thank god, you smile with mummy when you hear that song.
The next fed at 2pm, you also cry loud and luckily you didn't throw out the medicine. This morning after mummy nurse you at 5:45am, your temperature back to normal. :)

You are a wonderful baby. Despite you are not feeling well, but you didn't make any noise throughout the night, that's why mummy wasn't sure whether you are sick or not. Sorry, first time mummy ma :) You gave daddy and mummy a big shock! Your temperature is 38.3 degree when the nurse checked with thermometer.
Mummy felt that your forehead a bit heaty middle of the night, but daddy said could be your body is cold, so your body release some heat to make yourself warm ^_^. "Dr Chiang" theory. This morning when mummy dropped you at nursery, Mdm Chuah and Aunty Margerat feel your forehead and confirm that you are having light fever.
Baby, you are doing real cool. Today you met the new pedia, Dr Tan. You didn't make any noise when doctor examine you. Because you are not feeling well? But you did "talk" to Dr Tan and Dr Tan amazed with you though. Also, you poo poo and wee wee , cool baby!
Mummy learned from doc how to insert the fever pill into buttock :) And mummy try very hard to push it in, because mummy afraid may hurt you. Finally, mummy managed to push it in, and who knows, you pooooooo poooooo and push the pill out again..hahaha

Sleepless night for Kelvin...wow
Kelvin had bad day on last Thursday night 11th Jan. Cried from 11:30pm til 3am. The 2 first time parents really panic, don't know what to do. The mummy even think of worst come to worst, send him to Adventist ER for help. Stupid mummy ^_^ Checked with Aunty Margerat on next day, she said could be colic...phew
Again, Kelvin cried from 3am til 6:30am on 15th Jan. This time, the first time parents learn from experience. Able to control on the situation "a bit". Poor little boy.
Never say to Kelvin that he is not crying, coz no tears. The next moment u will see 2 tiny tears dropping from both eyes. Sigh, mummy see it feel heart broken. Then mummy will sayang the baby, so end up, Baby win! He will get whatever he want.

New Arrival!
Joyfully annoucing the arrival of Baby Kelvin on 7th Octover, 2006 at 9:35pm. ~From Proud and Happy Parents ^_^

heart beat. Snap shot baby's hand moving towards the face :) Triple test result
ok. Doc said baby will move for about 40 mins then sleep for another 40 mins
then wake up again....

concern afraid I will faint during labor pain, doc said should be no problem :)

open yet.
4 Oct - still no sign of labor. This morning had 2 times stomach cramp, not sure whether

don't encourage induce, coz if induce with 2 tables, cervix still not open, then need
to go for c-section.

My experience on 7th Oct 06
Wake up in the morning, feel that lots of discharge, thought it was normal discharge. Went to Sg Dua for hokkien mee. Discharge coming out on and off. After breakfast, went back and have short nap. Around 12.20pm, feel that tummy a bit cramp, and went to toilet, saw some red discharge coming out. Informed BB and went to Adventist. Went to Emergency Room and being send to labor ward. Nurse in labor ward uses Doppler to read baby’s heart beat. Being asked to press the button as and when feel baby’s movement. Later, nurse told me that I am actually having contraction. But I don’t feel it, maybe it’s very mild. The contraction being detected through baby’s heartbeat.
2:30pm, being given virus B injection. Second injection is 4 hrs later, which will be around 6:30pm.
3:45pm, one of the nurse came in to check whether cervix open or not. It was dilated for 3 cm at 3:45pm. According to the nurse, Dr Devindran will be coming in at 8pm to check on me and will put me on drip so that can trigger labor faster.
4:00pm, mom called. Told her I am in Adventist and she called Bb.
Around 8:30pm, Dr Dave came and according to him, my water bag still not broke, it’s just leaking from behind. He will break my water bag for me. When he did so, he noticed that there is some greenish discharge and per his explanation, baby pass motion and must take action immediately. He recommended emergency caesarian. If my cervix dilated for around 8 cm, he will still allow for normal delivery, however, my cervix only dilated for 3 cm, and it may take me another half day or so to get dilated til 8am. Without any further delay, I asked for his expertise and he recommended caesarian. Since it was an emergency caesarian, so everyone was in hurry. Blood being taken by the labor ward nurse and I’m being pushed to Operation Room around 9:00pm. Outside the Operation Room, Dr Khoo Boo Boo was there, explaining to me the anesthetic type that he going to give me. It’s 半身麻醉. So means I still alert but won’t be able to feel anything for bottom part of the body. Inside the Operation Room, everyone seems to be very 紧张, the situation quite tense. I’m being given oxygen and a hook being put in front of me so that I wont be able to see what Dr Dave is doing. Dr Khoo was standing beside me. After 2 spinal injections, I don’t have feel at the bottom part of body. After short while, I heard baby crying. My little boy is out!! And THANK GOD!!! According to Dr Dave, baby’s umbilical cord actually tangled a bit around his neck and this could be one of the reason baby pass motion inside the womb. Luckily we go for caesarian. The nurse let me kisses the baby, I was so happy seeing my little boy. I don’t know how to express the feeling, but I know tears drop from my eyes!!! This is the little boy that I’ve been waiting for so long!!! He is in fact 1 day overdue.
I never thought of I will go for caesarian, everything come to me in so sudden. Bb cannot accompany me in Operation Room L. After the operation, I being pushed to ICU area for incubator for almost 2.5 hrs. It’s the effect of the anesthetic, my hands and legs keep on shivering, out of my control.
Around 1am, I being pushed back to the room. Room 313. At there, I meet my little boy. He is so adorable. I am so happy with all of these despite the pregnancy journey is not smooth sailing for me, but IT’S ALL WORTH!!
2:30pm, being given virus B injection. Second injection is 4 hrs later, which will be around 6:30pm.
3:45pm, one of the nurse came in to check whether cervix open or not. It was dilated for 3 cm at 3:45pm. According to the nurse, Dr Devindran will be coming in at 8pm to check on me and will put me on drip so that can trigger labor faster.
4:00pm, mom called. Told her I am in Adventist and she called Bb.
