When you are at 19 mths...

I wanted to jot down the progress of yours, but somehow i failed to do so...
So today, i tell myself that i MUST do it.

Time flies, you are now 19 months and at this point of time,
You are:-
weight: 11kg
Height : around 81cm, very hard to measure your height as you won't stand still and let me measure
Teeth : A Lot.

Development:-
**Pick up new word pretty fast and start to put few words into a sentence.On and off, you will surprise mummy with some new word which i have no clue where and when you pick it up. So means, we all must watch out what we said in front of you, just in case you pick up the wrong word. Oops...

**Will tell the driver to stop when you see red light. You will say " dedi, stoop, wait" together with your hand showing wait sign

**And last night, we heard thunder sound and mummy told you "thunder" and you kept telling dedi "thunder"

**Able to differentiate car, van, bus and 2 days ago, you able to differentiate taxi from car. (Those colorful car, you will call it Taxi)

**You know how to count 2. Whenever you see anything in 2, you will say 2 dogs, 2 uncles. However, 2 is the only thing that you able to tell us. When we tell you 1 dog, you will show us your confuse look. haha!

**Able to call out Uncle, Aunty clearly. No longer calling Uncle as Kel and Aunty as Ti. But most of the time, you choose to call uncle and aunty in short form, which is Kel and Ti.

**Able to tell us whenever you want to poo, but not for wee wee. You will wee then giggle to me.

**Let me brush your teeth in the morning and night. After that, you will want to hold the toothbrush by yourself.

**Start to do self feeding but of course still need supervision

Eating:-
Basically you eat whatever we offer to you.
Your routine meal is:-

**Morning: Milk / oat / koay teow (weekend)
**Lunch: Porridge
**Tea break: Biscuit/Fruit/Bread
**Dinner : Porridge
**Second dinner : rice
**Supper : Milk / pau (occasionally only)
**Fruits : You ate all fruits for eg kiwi, apple, pear, ampula, banana (you started to love banana recently and you will call it as “la mi na”. You able to repeat after mummy and call it “banana” but later when I asked you again, you will tell me it’s “la mi na”)


Special note from daddy and mummy to you: Although you are getting cheekier and cheekier , but in our heart, you always our little baby!

This is the result of.....

It was a hot Saturday. So daddy and mummy decided to to bring you to PSC for swimming. We left ah Kong's house around 5:30pm and reached PSC around 6pm. As soon as you get out from the car, you shouted "pooool" when you saw the sea. Yeah yeah, to you, it's a pool, instead of sea, HAHAHAHA!Since the weather quite nice and the beach quite clean, so we let you walk on the sand for a while before heading to the real pool.

The baby pool quite crowded, and before daddy and mummy shower ourselves before going into the pool with you, you already dragged mummy to the pool. As soon as you get into the pool, you splashed water happily. And mummy noticed that you accidentally drank some pool water. We showed you how to swim and daddy even carry you and let you jump into the water!! This time, daddy will shower you as mummy cannot handle you all by myself as mummy nowadays a bit clumsy with the big tummy. So i went for shower before you guys while both of you still enjoy playing in the pool. We let you played in the pool for about 40 mins, and it's the hardest time for mummy and daddy as we need to pull you out from the pool. And of course we expect there will be some noise and protest from you.

We thought it should be ok, a bit of pool water only....However we are wrong. During dinner time, you refused to take your favourite spaghetti no matter how we coax you, you also refused to take your milk. Hmm...something not right huh! So we quickly finish our dinner and headed home. On our way home, you poo-ed. And from the sound, it sounds like diarrhea. Gosh, so, we suspect could be the pool water causes you to have diarrhea. Since it's quite late, so we did not get the lactose free milk powder for you. As soon as you had your milk, you will poo.

We waited for next day then only mummy called up Dr Tan. Immediately he heard that you went for swimming, he told mummy must be the contaminated pool water caused the diarrhea. Since the diarrhea not very bad, he asked mummy to give you anti-diarrhea medicine and monitor your progress. Also, we went to Sunshine Square to get you Enfalac Lactose Free milk powder. The diarrhea doesn't bother you at all, thank goodness.

And since Monday is public holiday, so mummy get to spend one more day with you at the same time monitor your progress. So far so good. Your diarrhea is under control even though you will still poo some soft and loose stool.

So, next challenge for daddy and mummy will be, how to make sure you will not accidentally drink the pool water during our next swimming session????

Photo choosing session

Excitedly, both of us walked into U-Smile photo studio to choose your pics. Remember, we were there on 5/12 for photo session?

There is total of 107 shots. Initially mummy thought i will have problem deciding which one to choose. However, after first screening, we found that most of the pics looks quite alike, the facial expression almost the same.

As usual, mummy will navigate and be the person who jot down that pic daddy want. If i am the one who need to make decision, i guess i will just pick all photos! HAHAHA! After close to 1 hr, finally we managed to choose 18 pics, per package. 15 pics for the album and 3 pics just normal 5R pics. And we had a very bad experience with U Smile, when we had the photo session, mummy requested for family photo, and the lady told us family photo not included in the package, WHAT??!!! And mummy has to pay extra in order to take the family photo! Ok fine.....however, when we choose the pic, mummy thought since we already paid for the photo shooting, so we should get to develop the family photo for free, NOPE, i am wrong, need to PAY AGAIN!! ARGH!!! What to do, since already taken the pic, so, i paid to develop our family photo.

Both mummy and daddy walked out with a feel that get con! And daddy keep grumbling, luckily he is not grumbling at me, he complain about the studio. So i guess, we won;t be going back there for second time. Don't worry, it doesn't means there is no more studio photo shooting session for you. We will either get uncle Kah or go to Photo Me for your next photo session.

Mama...Mamami...Mami

After waiting for soooooooooooooo long, finally you are calling me MAMI!!

You started to call me Mama, and recently, when i asked you to call me Mami, you will call me Mamami. You've been switching your way of calling daddy from Papa to Dadi much much earlier, make me anxiously wait for the day you will call me Mami. And on yesterday, finally, you decided to call me Mami. You call out loud and clear Mami. Wow, i am so happy!!

yippie...it's TGIF

Don’t get excited with the title of the post. We are not going to TGIF, but it’s Thank God It’s Friday!

Friday means no need to work on the next day and also at the same time, can relax the brain after Friday’s lunch time and start to think for weekend’s plan. Saturday and Sunday, mummy can spend time with you at home, we can go for breakfast together, mummy can bath you, play by with you…….

And next Monday is public holiday too, so all together, we have 3 days to spend together!! How nice if every week I only week 4 days and off for 3 days!! Or the other way better, work 3 days off 4 days!!!

Your studio pic...

Baby Jasmine going back to Hong Kong today and the U-Smile studio very nice, they expedite her album for her on yesterday....and as the result, we get to see one of your photo studio's pics.Look at the eye contact....you look to the right meanwhile baby Jasmine look to the left.
This make mummy more anxious to see our studio photos. Ms Goh told mummy that aunty Ling told her, most of your pics are nice and you have more than 100 pics! Geez...mummy must control myself, else daddy's pocket will have a BIG HOLE when he received the credit card statement!

Studio photo session at U-Smile

Last Thursday evening, Ms Goh invite us to have photo shooting session at U-smile together with her niece on yesterday (12th May). So, after work, daddy and mummy quickly rushed home, pack your costume and rushed to school to meet up with them.

Our plan to leave office by 4:30pm, then drop by QBM for fried rice, however, last mins, mummy cannot leave on time, so daddy went to QBM to tar pau fried rice and so sweet of him, he gets mummy the organic soya bean juice too. Both of us take turn to eat the fried rice in the car, and of course mummy gets to eat more and daddy has to drive! hahaha! We took a quick shower then went to meet up with everyone at the school.

We went to Gurney in Uncle James Unser. Traffic a bit bad and we reached the photo studio around 6:40pm. Baby Jasmine took the photo first while you busy exploring the studio. After around 40 mins, it's your turn. Before your individual photo shooting, we let you and baby Jasmine take some photos together. Initial few shots, you lay on the flurry bed with baby Jasmine and after that you refused to do so and when we tried to make you lay down, you cried. So we gave up and let you start with your individual photo shooting. You had your photo shooting in 3 different costume, 1st with traditional Chinese costume, 2nd with army suit and 3rd casual wear. The lady told me that we can choose the pics on the next day, but daddy and mummy will only do it on Saturday, take our own sweet time to choose the pics.

We left the studio around 8:40pm and headed back to QBM to meet up with the rest of Goh family members for dinner. We had our dinner at Dragon-I. We ordered LOTS of food until everyone surrender. We left the place around 10pm and we were the last customer to leave the restaurant.

We went to pick up our car at Ms Goh's house and as usual, you insisted to play for a while in their house. Daddy need to drag you out else you refused to go home. We reached home close to 11pm and as soon as you finished your milk, you go to your lala-land.

Mummy can't wait to see the photos....

Happy Mother's Day

Today is Mother's day, and we went to Feng Wei for lunch with ah ma. Mummy called up the restaurant and make reservation, else we won't be able to have any seat as that restaurant is always full with people!

Our reservation is for 1:15pm lunch as usually Kenny Ah Ku will have skype session with ah kong and ah ma on Sunday, and if you are awake by that time, you will "chat" with him too. Today, besides mother's day, it's also the day whereby mummy need to get poke at Adventist Hospital, for the triple test. Daddy and mummy went to Adventist around 11am and only get to get everything done by 12:30pm.

We reached the restaurant around 1:20pm, and gosh, still lots of people in the restaurant. We ordered tou fu, indonesia prawn, honey chicken, veggie and fried noodle. You can't wait for our food to be served and keep telling daddy and mummy "mum mum" After waiting for about 10 mins, i think so, finally our food is served. And we quickly get you something to eat before you started to make more noise. You enjoy the food very very much. And after everyone done eating and when we all ready to make a move, you told mummy "mum mum", huh??? Still not full yet? hahahahaha! Ah kong said u must be missing your milk, that's why you still ask for food.

On the way back, we dropped by Abu Siti Lane to get mummy's favourite drink, coconut juice!

As soon as we reached home, you ask for milk! We thought you will knock out after milk, but somehow you still very energetic whereas all of us feel sleepy. Ah kong has his nap in the living room and you keep disturbing him, naughty boy! Later daddy brought you up to the room and after you roll on the bed for a while, you told daddy you need to do your "big business" So daddy brought you to the toilet while mummy goes to my lala-land. Sorry, i am too tired!!

When i wake up from my sleep, it's around 6:15pm and you are still in your lala-land. Daddy said you had your afternoon nap quite late.

And next headache is, where to for dinner! The final decision is, to get you spring chicken porridge at Island Glades. So daddy and mummy went out to tar pau for you while you stayed at home with ah kong and ah ma.oh yeah, today is Formula 1 day. While we back with the porridge, you were busying playing and watching the F1 racing. While we fee you with the porridge, you just open your mouth while your eyes watching the F1 race. Very concentrate!!! Hmm...daddy said must be i watch too much F1 racing while i pregnant with you! After dinner, we went back to our home sweet home. That's how we spend our Mother's day!

My mummy so happy today

Mummy super happy today…u know why??? Let me tell you...

This morning on our way to Fook Chiew kopitiam for breakfast, she received phone call from aunty Angeline, after the phone call, she has GOOD appetite!!
I wonder what aunty angeline told her.

And when we got back, Ah Ma told mummy that her friend drop by and give her a big bag of ampula…

Mummy can’t wait to eat it, and the fruit look so cute, and I asked for a bite…
Ta daaa…I love the taste and the smell…so I asked for more and more and more from mummy. Me and mummy enjoy eating it and daddy gave us a funny look, HAHAHAHA! And daddy keep warning mummy don’t take too much, else later mummy will complain gastric, tummyache, headache, hairache…..mummy has lots of all sorts of ache recently!!

Sweetie, today is Friday

Today, you wake up pretty early, almost same time as mummy's alarm clock. Mummy tried to make you continue to sleep, but you refuse to. And you insisted mummy to lie beside you and won't let me wake up from the bed. Mummy keep telling you that today is Friday and mummy need to go to work, and mummy can only accompany you to laze on the bed on tomorrow and day after tomorrow, which is Saturday and Sunday. You paused for a while, but as soon as mummy stand up, you make noise again.

So.....i have to carry you and put you in your cot while mummy preparing myself for work! How i wish i can stay at home with you. (another mission for you, you go tell daddy that u want mummy to be with you at home EVERYDAY!!)

After everyone ready, time to leave the house. As usual, you need to go to your favourite spot at the car park to look for your little friend, ANT!!! Then, we went to buy breakfast and as usual, you like to see the mamak uncle tossing the roti canai, and you said "throoooh" (throw) when you see the mamak uncle doing so.

After that, mummy asked you, where are we going now when we headed to your school, you told mummy "skuuuu" (school). God job baby! You like to sit on Aunty Fong's motorcycle before going into the house, but today because of the way aunty Fong parked her motorcycle, so part of your face facing the sun while you sat on the motorcycle. You told daddy "hot hot" and uses your hand to cover your face. All of us laugh at what you are doing, so cute! Since we are a bit late today, so daddy and mummy only spend few mins in school with you, then we leave to work with heavy heart. I wish i can spend more time with you. In another 6 hrs time, mummy will pick you up from "skuuuu!" Can't wait to see you, my little sweetie!

Why all the pic in the post so dull?

Kelvin:Why nowadays most of the post that mummy posted doesn't have nice nice scrapbook?? sigh....so boring.

Mummy: Because, mummy moved to new company and this new company, they have "SUPERB" IT policy and they practised PC LOCKED DOWN policy. Means, user won't be able to simply install any other software into the laptop/ PC.

Kelvin: oh ...no wonder all pic looks so dull!

Mummy: ok ok, let's talk to daddy tonight and ask him to get us a computer at home so that mummy can post nice nice pic for you, ok?

Kelvin: ok ok, this simple task leave it to me to talk to daddy!!!

Walk Walk At Gurney!

After breakfast, mummy decided to bring you to Gurney for short walk!

As usual, you will walk around and look for ant! Nowadays ant become your favourite insect. No matter where you go, you will start looking for ant and sometimes the ant is soooooo tiny in size, but yet they still able to catch your attention.

Then what is next? BIRD!! As you see some bird "jumping" here and there, you run towards the bird, and of course the bird fly away and yet this doesn't stop you from chasing after the poor bird.

After a while, you decided to play pee-ka-boo with daddy. Poor daddy need to hide himself here and there to keep you entertained. I guess to much laughing and running for you, and you started to run your eyes indicating "time to sleep."

We then headed back to Ah Kong's house for your morning nap!

Breakfast time!

Today, mummy decided to bring you to one of daddy's favourite place in town for breakfast. The shop is famous for koay teow thng. The shop is somewhere after new world park's entrance. It's something like Fook Chiew kopi tiam, can't remember the shop's name even though we'v been there many many times.

We ordered koay teow for you and before the koay teow is served, you kept saying "mum mum!" And after few mins of waiting, finally our koay teow is here! You can't wait for daddy to feed you. Poor daddy have to take care you while mummy eating my bee hoon thng! Privileage as a preggie, can eat first! YEAH!

After mummy finish with my bee hoon, i take over the role from daddy so that daddy can start enjoy his koay teow noodle. You seems like the koay teow very much and keep ask for more. We dare not give you too much, afraid may overload your small tummy. After daddy done with his koay teow noodle, we left the place happily!

We will bring you there again for breakfast since you lovesss the koay teow so much!
