Injection again and follow up for nose blocked

Yours blocked nose seems become on and off problem and you wont have any whizzing sounds from around 10am til 4am. Today, we go for follow up check up for your nose blocked as well as getting your scheduled injection. From the description mummy gave to Dr Khaw, it’s being concluded that you are not having blocked nose, but sensitive nose. And according to Dr Khaw, it’s pretty common for infant below 3 months and especially the infant with either parent with sensitive nose. And too bad, mummy has sensitive nose, sorry baby! Dr Khaw said usually the sensitive will gets better after 3 months.

After checking the nose, what is next? Injection again! This time you need to take 2 injections and the rotavirus medicine at the same time, pity you. Don’t understand why nowadays the kids need to take so many injections and oral medicine compare to daddy mummy’s childhood time. Maybe due to environment change, lifestyle change, and all the bacterias get smarter and smarter, so more and more vaccination being introduced.

Still remember, last time we don’t have vaccination for chicken pox, and nowadays, this vaccination become an optional vaccination. Kids who take the chicken pox vaccination will “run way” from getting chicken pox, good deal right?

  2. So, when kids grow up, need to keep taking the chicken pox jabs??

What if when kids turn into an adult and infected with the chicken pox? It would be more painful and the scars will not heal very fast and some will remain.

I think it's best that let kids to have chicken pox during their childhood years... rather than adulthood.

  3. Merryn: Thanks for adding my blog into ur blog list. I also didn't give my son the rotavirus jab, guess 2 yrs ago, this jab not that polular yet, LOL! Nowadays more and more jabs being introduced, look back at our time, where got so many jabs. Not sure all these new jabs really needed or not, but being a kiasu and kiasi parents, we will choose to let the kid have those so called "recommended" jabs.

Wonderful Life: I think the chicken pox jab is not 100% full proof.

Pros and cons of having chicken pox during childhood. Of course less pain but then children may not be able to control themself and scratch the skin and get scar too.....overall, chicken pox is horrible, agree?
