Learning to sit

Kaitlyn learning how to sit by herself, but unfortunately, she is like a humpty dumpty. She can't sit properly by herself yet, she will lean forward whenever she is at sitting position. I guess it's too early for her to sit by herself, but this little girl of mine is trying her best to put herself at sitting position.

Today, after i picked her up from nursery, since she is in such a cutie dress, so i can't stop myself from taking her pic. So...i let her sit on the sofa and quickly snap few pics of her! She loves taking photo, she will look at me and sometime she will give me her sweetest smile!

Bumboo babies

The first time you sat in bumboo seat is when you are 9 mths old. And mummy borrowed bumboo seat from aunty Angeline for mei mei. And as soon as you see the bumboo seat, you can’t wait to sit in it, What a naughty boy!
This is the first time you sit in bumboo seat. You seems enjoy sitting it in!

I love BALL

No matter what ball, as long as it’s ball, You will love it soooo much!
However, everytime when you play with ball, you will tend to hurt yourself. Either bang on the wall, bank on the floor etc. But, this doesn’t stop you from continue playing with it.

Whenever ah kong watching football match, you will busy kicking the ball all over the house. And sometimes you will even ask us to play with you.

Opps...how should i answer

Everytime after Kelvin poo poo, we will wash his bum bum with water. While we were in my parents house, Kelvin looked for daddy ..........

Kelvin: where is daddy?
Ah Ma : daddy is in toilet, he poo poo
Kelvin: daddy poo poo, who wash daddy’s bum bum?
Ah Ma : **oopps, doesn't know how to answer** daddy will wash him bum bum himself

Whem mom told me her conversation with Kelvin, both of us had good laugh over it.

Where is mummy?

I had department dinner last night at Chilli's Grill & Bar in Gurney Plaza, as such, i asked my parents to pick up Kaitlyn from school whereas Terence pick up Kelvin as he can't handle 2 of the kids in the car all by himself.

On my way to Gurney plaza, i called mom to make sure Kaitlyn reached home and mom told me she is sleeping soundly. The dinner suppose to start by 6:30pm but everyone were either stucked in office or traffic jam, and we only started to eat around 8pm. Initially i thought i should be able to reach home by 9:30pm, just in time to tug my 2 sweetie pies to bed, but things doesn't go as the plan. While i'm eating, i keep thinking "what is Kelvin doing now?", "what is Kaityn doing now?". I smsed hubby to check whether the 2 sweetie pies had sleep or not and hoping that he replied me telling me both already in their lala-land. However, the reply from hubby is "Kelvin sleep already and Kaitlyn nope". We only dissmissed around 10pm. Uncle YC send me back and by the time i reached home, it's almost 11pm.

I quickly bath myself and nurse my litte sweetie pie. Luckily Kelvin already fall asleep thus i can fully spend time tugging my little sweetie pie to bed. Poor girl, you can't sleep and keep tossing left and right. I feel so bad and guilty. You fall asleep in my arm after latching for less than 1 minute. You must be very very veryyyyyy tired. I guess the answer will be, in future "no more dinner appointment with others."

It's still early for you

You looks so excited when seeing ke ke riding on his bicycle, and the trekker. Ah ma let you sit on the trekker and you moved your leg as if you are trying to move it. ** no eye see**

We all predict that you may start to walk even before you reach one year old. We shall see.

Whenever we carry you, you like to shake your leg and teachers in school like to make you shake your leg by saying "goyang goyang" or "shake your legs".

Kelvin and Kaitlyn: "huh?" What is that?

Kelvin: mei mei, what are you looking at?
Kaitlyn: ke ke, look at that
Kelvin: mei mei, look here

I roll, i roll, i roll roll roll

You started to able to roll over around 4 mths old. Ever since you master the skill of rolling over, as soon as mummy put you on the bed, you will keep rolling over. And you like to sleep on your chest and look at us. Your ke ke start to roll over around 5 mths old. You are one month earler than ke ke.
Even at night, you prefer to sleep on your chest. Earlier mummy keep waking up to check on you even though Dr Khaw already assured mummy that you won’t suffocate yourself by sleeping on your chest, but…I am still worry. But now, I am more comfortable seeing you sleeping on your chest. And I notice that by sleeping that way, you able to sleep more soundly. Maybe it’s like what old people said, kid who sleep on their chest tend to sleep better and wont get scared by any noise.

Youth Park again!

Youth park again!! This time we brought long more noodles. Dad bought 3 packs of noodles and hubb bought 3 packs of noodles, so in total, 5 of us need to finish up 6 packs of noodles. But to my surprise, we don’t have problem finish up the 6 packets! LOL!

Kaitlyn more enjoy her outing this time. She enjoy sitting in stroller and get pushed around by us. Kelvin only ride on his bicycle for short while then headed to the play ground. We spend around 1 hr in yYouth Park and decided to make a move. Looking forward to have more outing with the 2 kids.

Our morning at Youth Park

Has been a decade we didn't go for morning exercise at the park. Previously, we used to go to the park nearby our housing area, however, ever since mummy went into third trimester of pregnancy, we stop going to the park in the weekend morning. And furthermore, after mei mei is born, we even no opportunity to spen our morning at the park, partly due to mei mei is too small and we try not to bring her out too often.

It’s a sunny Sunday, so we decided to bring both of you to Youth Park for a walk. We wake up around 8:30am, get ourselves bath and wait for ah kong and ah ma to pick us up.
Along the way, we stopped by to buy 2 packets of fried noodle as all of us yet to have our breakfast. We reached Youth ark around 10am and the place still very crowded.

We brought along the bicycle so that Kelvin can ride the bicycle at the skating area and for Kaitlyn, she needs to sit in her stroller. Kaitlyn seems a bit uneasy as this is her first time staying under hot sun directly. But very fast, she starts to enjoy the fresh air. Kelvin initially very excited cycling around but later he noticed the playground and he requested us to bring him over to play the swing, slides, etc.

We had our breakfast, a bit sounds like picnic, except we do put a big mattress on the grass, no homemade sandwiches, but we do brought along 2 packets of fried noodles. 1 for me and hubb and 1 for dad and mom. Probably for next time, I can consider wake up earlier to prepare sandwiches for everyone huh! To my surprise, Kelvin enjoys the fried noodle very much and keep ask for more. Maybe he spends too much energy cycling. As for Kaitlyn, I brought along expressed breast milk.

After brunch, we continue to let Kelvin play for short while. Kaitlyn started to show sign of sleepy so dad carry her and let her sleep in his arm. This little girl sleep so soundly in her ah kong’s arm. We decided to make a move at 11:45am and headed for lunch.
