Yes yes, surprise surprise! Mummy went to McDonalds!! Mummy is not fans of McD, but since i get the birthday voucher from company, so mummy and daddy decided to use it before we forget. So, on Friday afternoon, seeing you so bored at home, so we decided to bring you out. It's Public Holiday, our 50th Merdeka, every where will be jam terriblely. Initial plan is to go to Queensbay Mall, then daddy and mummy afraid of the bad jam, so we decided to go Tesco.
Well, we didn't make a wise choice, though. As daddy drove closer to the parking entrance, we saw there is a long queue waiting to get into the parking area, gosh.....since we were there, so we also join in the queue. Luckily, we manage to get a parking spot pretty fast. Then, we proceed to McD before we start our shopping in Tesco.
How we keep you entertain while we eating our burger? Smart daddy! He gets you few ketchup saucer and you seems very excited playing with it. Mummy and daddy get to enjoy our burger peacefully and happily! After that, you decided to disturb the che che sitting next to us, you roar at her for few times. Naughty boy!
When we went up to Tesco, gosh, it's so crowded. So, mummy decided to join the crowd and daddy get the honor job to carry you. We shop for about 30 mins and you showed us the tired look. Mummy quicly grab whatever needed and off, we headed back.
When we reached home, since you're tired, so you go to la la land pretty fast. By the way, this is your first time celebrating Merdeka ya!
Mummy in hurry to bring you out and forget to bring along camera...what a waste :(

Merdeka!! Merdeka! My 1st Merdeka celebration!
This is my first Merdeka celebration! Not sure whether mummy will bring me to anywhere or not....but i am happy still, coz i get to stay at home and play with daddy and mummy! yeah!
Look at the serious face with one finger pointing up! Does my little boy looks like shouting "Merdeka! Merdeka!" ? He's telling everyone that this is his 1ST Merdeka celebration!! hahaha!

Mummy, bring me food!
"Mum mum, mum mum!" Don't get this wrong, my little boy not calling me mum, instead he is asking for food! Nowadays, whenever he sees us eating, he will crawl to us and keep saying "mum mum!" Id we are eating bread or apple, then we will let him have some share, then he will eat it happily and clap his hand!
Every morning, daddy will cook cereal for mummy. And nowadays, you get to eat some from daddy's cup. We notice you show interest on our cereal recently as whenever we drink our cereal, you will look at us. So, 2 days ago, mummy decided to give a try. I asked daddy to feed you some and per our expectation, you didn't reject it. I think basically the cereal taste almost same as your Heinz rice cereal.
Everyday, mummy will prepare a small slice of Gardenia wholemeal bread for you to eat during tea break. I noticed that, you will only finish the bread if it's Gardenia wholemeal. If i give you other type, for sure i will see some left over in the container. You know what brand of bread to eat huh!
am not sure what is your weight now as i carry you day in day out, so hard to tell whether you gain a lot or not. Hahaha, what a blur mum huh! What i hope is, you will eat well, sleep well, grow well and last by not least poo-poo well too!

The KEY Boy!
I don't know why, lots of kids like playing with keys. Maybe the sound from the keys make them feel that they are playing on music instrument? My lil Kelvin likes playing with keys, whenever he sees us holding keys, he will "instruct" us to give it to him. Here is how we keep him busy while me and hubb busy getting ourself ready for outing. We will turn on his favourite music VCD and let him play with the keys at the same time watching the movie.
New way of dancing!
Nowdays, my little boy has new way of dancing. Instead of moving his shoulder left and right, he will hold both of his hands then shake them. Pardon my "duck" voice in the clip ya :) **Make sure u adjust your speaker volume to minimum** Just look at what my lil boy do will do and ignore the background noise huh!

Big Bully !

Mummy :
U like to pat mummy's face real hard then throw me with a big juicy kisses! Why i call it juicy kiss? Because all your saliva will ended up on my face/mouth/nose...
Daddy :
When you wake up and if you see daddy still in lala-land, you will crawl over, sit beside him and start using your fingers to explore daddy's mouth, nose, eyes! But daddy getting smarter now, he will still continue sleeping, then awhile later, you will give up.
Ah Kong :
wow, you found some new game. Anyhow, it's all started by Ah Kong himself, geez, you get spoilt by him anyhow. Yday while mummy try to feed you medicine, you scream, so in order to calm you down, Ah Kong decided to try this new game.What's that? Ah Kong clip the laundry clip to his lips and show it to you, and somehow, you decided to pull it away. Ouch, that's pain!!! And you super excited after doing so and kept asking Ah Kong to repeat it over and over. Poor Ah Kong, in order to keep his precious grandson happy, he let you continue doing that.
Ah Ma :
You will request Ah Ma to push you around the house in your trekker. And you will give her instruction where to go! Nowadays, you discovered crawling up the stairs, so Ah Ma doesn't need to carry you walk up and down up and down. Previously, you will instruct Ah Ma to hold on you and let you slowly walk up the stairs.
Ee Poh :
You like to tease ee poh by showing want her to carry you, but, when ee poh come nearer and want to carr you, you will turn your body over and laugh happily! But...when no one is at home, you will glue to ee poh......and you will want her to carry you sit/stand by the sliding door looking at the main gate, waiting for us to come back!
Mimi :
You like to look at Mimi and chase after her. But, with your current speed, you still can't compete with Mimi as she can run real fast. When you first get your trekker and Mimi saw it, Mimi was so afraid of it and she ran away, and you kept insisting us to push you nearer to her. Luckily, now, Mimi get used to it. One fun thing is, you like to smile to Mimi whenever she come near you when you are sitting on the floor.

Follow-Up checking
Daddy and mummy pick you up around 6:15pm, then we headed to Adventist Hospital. Aunty Margaret told me that you throw out quite a lot of phlegm while you were having your breakfast ~ milk + rice cereal. Well, this is good, you need to throw out the phlegm as much as possible.
Gosh, coastal road is jammed again! And since we still have plenty of time, so no hurry, we join in the fun of jam-ing on coastal road, afterall, me and you don't have to step on pedal and break, we were sitting behind like king and queen meanwhile daddy need to cut here and there in the jam.
We arrived Adventist around 6:50pm, and when we were at the Paed Clinic, it's a bit crowded as tonite, there is 2 paed on duty. Once the nurse started to take registration, mummy quickly pass your appointment card to the nurse on duty. Opps, i forgot what is the name of the nurses, but somehow few of them can recognised you. Hmm..i guess must be you like to play with the things at the nursing station...haha
We waited for about 3 mins then the nurse called out your name. Poor boy, you were playing happily in Dr Tan's room until you saw him. You started to cry softly. I bet you must be still remember what he did to you on Monday. Yes, he helped to clear your blocked nose and you hate it so much! And i think due to this, whenever you see him, you afraid of him doing the same thing on you again. This happened to Dr Mary previously too :)
Dr Tan did a thorough check, listen to your lung, check on your ears...good news is, lung is clear and not more wheezing....but the ear infection still there. So, you need to continue to take the antibiotics for 3 more days as per Dr Tan, the infection may cause fever if it get worst. So safe side, we will continue with the antibiotics and he did assure me that, the antibiotic is good for the infection and has no side effect on you. Besides, Dr Tan also suggest to let you have one more round of nebuliser to soften the phlegm.
This time, don't know why, daddy choose to carry you while you had the nebuliser. And mummy since nothing to do, so i stand there look at you. And then...finally...i realised why daddy choose to walk away or pretend not seeing you have nebuliser. It's a TORTURING moment for you and me and him !!!! When i saw you cry til some tears coming out, my heart sanked! My tears kept rolling in my eyes and i need to hold back all my tears. You scream, struggle.....For previous few nebuliser session, i let you sit on my lap, as such, i only get to hear your crying and screaming voice and unable to see your facial expression. Til today, when i stand beside you and daddy! It's a 5 mins session, but to me, it seems like a 5 hr session!!! When i see you crying and struggling, and me can't help much....the most i can do is i hold on to both of your small little hand, hoping that this will calm you down a bit...your voice get soften a bit, not sure it's because i managed to calm you down or you are too tired. I think must be too tired. Luckily after the session, you stop crying and resume with your normal "kaypoh-ness". You start to look left right up down front back....
When we got back to our apt, you refused to sleep. You crawl here and there happily...and after 1 hr, you started to look for mummy. Mummy was busy washing your dirty laundry and you sat near to the laundry area and cry...I know you are sleepy. Whenever you look for me means you want to sleep :) I carried you into the room, not forgetting to feed you with your cough and phlegm medicine, then nurse you and within 5 mins, you went to lala-land!And again, mummy need to attend weekly night telecon tonite,so i need to make sure you will go to lala-land before my meeting. You still in your lala-land while me writing this post. Sweet dream and get well fast, my sweetie pie!

Poor baby
For the past few days, you didn't have good appetite, don't have good sleep at night, which is totally different as the usual you. You keep waking up and want mummy to hold you in my arm and sleep....so mummy has no choice besides holding you in my arm for a while, and when i noticed you sleep soundly, i will put you down on the bed.
And this morning,i called up Dr Tan and he advised me to bring you over to his clinic so that he can check more thoroughly. Daddy and mummy off from work around 4pm, rushed to pick you up from nursery then headed to Adventist hospital. Luckily when we reached there, it was around 4:35pm and we are Dr Tan's last patients. Not sure since when they took away the old weighing machine and replace with digital weighing machine.
After waiting for about 5 mins, Dr Tan called your name "Mr Kelvin Chiang" and guess what...you were busy looking at the 3 Americans in the paed clinic. Dr Tan called you little kay poh..hahaha..and here come the more exciting part. Dr Tan started to examine you, listen to your breathing and he said he heard wheezing..And when he check on your throat and ears, he found some minor infection on both. Oh, what a bad news!! Also, Dr Tan helped to clear the mucus from your nose and you were screaming at top of your voice! Dr Tan also suggested us to go for nebuliser to soften the phlegm, and when the nurse get it done for you, you scream, cry.....baby, i don't you don't like it, and so do i. My heart sank when i saw you screaming and crying throughout the session. I think it's about 5 mins, but to me, i feel like it's 5 hrs session. Furthermore, i have to hold on to you, block your both hand so that you won't push the chamber away from your face. It's a real uneasy session for you and me.
And guess what...we came back with big bags of medicine:-
Rhinatiol - for cough and running nose
Iliadin - nose drop
Bricanyl- for phlegm
Cadex- antibiotic for the infection
Ventolin evohaler - to release the lung muscle
Since you don't feel like drinking milk from bottle, mummy fed you using spoon. Thanks to Vernon's mummy's advise, you took close to 2 oz of milk, then mummy mix the remaining milk with rice cereal for you, and you finish it. After that, it's another challenging time for mummy as i need to feed you the medication. This time, mummy decided to be lone ranger, i hold on you and feed you the medicine. To our surprise, you didn't refuse taking the medicine, of course, you show discomfort, but, you finish all the medicines!! You amazed all of you, you are such a good and brave boy!
When we got back to our apt, you were busy crawling from living room, to kitchen, to bedroom...super busy. I let you play for a while then i let you have your Ventolin evohaler and Inflammide. These 2 won't cause me any problem as you like playing with the aero chamber. There is once, you took my breast pump and put it on to your face as if you are using the aero chamber. And lastly, i gave you nose drop before nurse you. You were pretty tired, i guess, you latch on and go to lala land pretty fast. I hope you will have good night sleep throughout the nite. One thing which i salute you, despite you are not feeling well, but you still very naughty, cheeky....Get well soon, baby!

You crawl up the stairs!
Daddy came back from Traders Hotel around 9:30pm and you decided to glue to him. Ah Kong came to rescue daddy so that he can get his shower and bring us back to our Home Sweet Home.
And how Ah Kong manage to 'un-glue' you from daddy? The trick is...let you walk up the stairs!
After few steps, Ah Kong realised that your nappy get unhooked, and while he's trying to hook the nappy for you, you suddenly bend down and start crawling up the stairs!! Yes, crawl up! So amazing! You crawled all the way up to upstairs to look for daddy in the room, too bad, daddy was having his shower, so he didn't enjoy the fun seeing you crawling up the stairs.
When daddy came down after his shower, while we were telling him about what you did, you also join in our conversation. You pointed at the stairs with some baby talk and clapped your hands, looks like you are telling daddy "Daddy, i crawled up the stairs, a big clap for my achievement!" And you also show us your cheeky smile.
I have to admit, time flies..you are now 10 mths old, there is lots of things that you can do, just that mummy and daddy haven't discover it. We expect more to come :)

Sweet Sweet Moment
The sweet moment between me and my sweetie pie.
Nowadays, whenever i said "come baby, give mummy a kiss", my little Kelvin will turn to me and start to pat my face, then put his mouth on my face and kiss me. By the time he finish kissing me, i will look like just done washing my face as my face will full of his saliva. But, i do enjoy the moment very very much!
Every night before he goes to la la land, he will lay on my chest, and give me a sweet sweet good nite kiss. I wonder how long will he still kissing me ....My sweetie pie now is in his la la land with daddy while i writing this post. Just done with my night telecon and finish up some work, good sleep and sweet dream, my baby!

My New Toy
Here is what u get from mummy and daddy - 7 in 1 trekker from Mothercare. Mummy get to know about Mothercare's sales from friend..so i asked Ah Kong to get it for me if he happened to go KL, and since Ah Kong pretty tight up with recent PC fair, so.....Ah Kong requested his friend in KL to get it for you...
Finally..instead of the 5 in 1 trekker, i get 7 in 1 trekker as 5 in 1 trekker is out of stock. Ah Kong went to Ipoh on Friday to meet up with his friend and at the same time collect my new toy for you. We stayed at Ah Kong's house so that you will be able to play with you fresh from the oven. We waited waited waited and poor boy, you insited us to bring you up to the room....and guess what, ah Kong reached home 10 mins before 11pm, and quickly, we assemble the toy for you. You were so excited seeing it eventhough you a bit sleepy at that moment. You can't wait to try on your new toy as you kept grabbing those small little parts from mummy while mummy fixing it for you
First, we let you use it as rocker, you enjoy rocking it so much...we let you play for a while as mummy worried that you may have nightmare if you play too much before you sleep. And guess what, mummy is right, you had nightmare and cried terriblely around 2am, mummy has to carry you up and let you sleep in my arm for a while.
The next day, you woke up and we let you rock on it for a while then later we feel that ride on will be more exciting for you....and yes, you seems very excited to move around the house and later, you feel even fun if someone else push you around the house. Finally..instead of the 5 in 1 trekker, i get 7 in 1 trekker as 5 in 1 trekker is out of stock. Ah Kong went to Ipoh on Friday to meet up with his friend and at the same time collect my new toy for you. We stayed at Ah Kong's house so that you will be able to play with you fresh from the oven. We waited waited waited and poor boy, you insited us to bring you up to the room....and guess what, ah Kong reached home 10 mins before 11pm, and quickly, we assemble the toy for you. You were so excited seeing it eventhough you a bit sleepy at that moment. You can't wait to try on your new toy as you kept grabbing those small little parts from mummy while mummy fixing it for you
First, we let you use it as rocker, you enjoy rocking it so much...we let you play for a while as mummy worried that you may have nightmare if you play too much before you sleep. And guess what, mummy is right, you had nightmare and cried terriblely around 2am, mummy has to carry you up and let you sleep in my arm for a while.
The next day, you woke up and we let you rock on it for a while then later we feel that ride on will be more exciting for you....and yes, you seems very excited to move around the house and later, you feel even fun if someone else push you around the house. Wow, guess what i heard!
Tonight,on our way back to apt from Ah Kong's house, you stand on my lap mumbling to yourself in the car. Out of sudden, i heard you saying "mum mum" clearly, then i said "ma ma", and GUESS WHAT!!! You said out "ma ma" LOUD and CLEAR after me!! Mummy kept ask you to repeat it , and you did it for couple of time then decided to stop following what i said. I reconfirm with daddy whether he heard you calling me or not, and he said "Yes". Mummy so happy.
After waiting for 10 mths, finally, i heard my sweetheart calling me "ma ma". Oh man...i almost want to cry out when i heard you calling me.
As mummy need to attend telecon at 11pm, so i can't play with you for too long, i have to force you to sleep so that i can concentrate myself during the meeting. And thank god, i manage to make you go into your la la land 8 mins before my telecon. I hope you and daddy having good dream now and mummy will join you guys after my meeting.

Oh..Baby, pls don't do this to mummy again!
Oh baby, you showed me sad face again when mummy dropped you at the nursery. You refused to let any of them carry you no matter how hard they distract you. You choosed to stick to mummy. But, mummy has no choice, i have to let teacher carry you as mummy need to go work. I misses you so muchi wish time can tick faster so that i can see you soon! How i wish one fine day, daddy will accept my application as stay at home mom! Then, mummy and you can glue to each other 24 hrs! But it will not happen, only happen in my dream for being stay at home mom!

Your Sunday event ~ What a beautiful Sunday!
Today, we are suppose to bring you to Tumble Tots for your babygym trial session, but we didn't make it.Morning
You wake mummy and daddy up around 9am, no matter how hard we try, you refused to continue sleep...so end up, we give up! Daddy bring you to the garden behind our apt block for a walk while mummy quickly clean up myself (brush teeth, wash face, shower)
Later, we brought you to Uncle Austin's shop for hair cut. We were there early, so we went to Watson for a while. We waited for Uncle Austin for about 10 mins, and when you met his daughter, you greeted her with sweet smile when she showed you a small ball....Uncle Austin said you look so happy now and later you will scream when he cut your hair. Yes, he is right!! Mummy carry you and uncle Austin "cut" your hair, you scream scream and scream, poor thing. Actually we are suppose to bring you for hair cut few weeks ago, but mummy know for sure you will scream, so we kept postponing the plan until the day before, daddy saw you keep sweating, so no choice, gotta bring you for haircut. The hair cutting session only less than 5 mins, but to mummy, i felt it's 1 hr long. Seeing you scream and cry, i wish i can find a way to calm you down. I guess you don't like people touching you head and hold you tight.
After haircut, we headed back to our apt where you had a short nap before your baby gym class. While you were sleeping, daddy and mummy quickly had our brunch. While mummy came out from bathroom, i heard you crying. Daddy was in the room comforting you, but the moment you see me, you want me to carry you.
Afternoon
We left our apt around 12:45pm, mummy know that for sure we won't be on time for the class, but still try our luck. We managed to get parking spot pretty fast, but it was already 1:15pm. When we got down from the car, you clapped your hand happily and waving with daddy. So, guess what, we decided to shop in Queensbay Mall. We brought you to food department as daddy want to show you some veggies and fruits. Then, we proceed to Toys'R'us. At there, you had great time playing with some of the toys. After that, we stopped by Enfant shop, and mummy get you one set of pajamas. While daddy paying for the pajamas, suddenly you decided to make friend with the promoter. You touched the promoter's hand and you even let her touch you and at the same time, you gave her your sweetest cheeky smile. Then...oh no, mummy smell something, oh no, you poo poo! So we went to Jusco's baby room, and no choice, daddy gotta come in together with us as mummy alone won't able to change diaper for you.
After the change, oops, almost time for you to eat...luckily mummy brought along the Dumex rice cereal, and when you saw it, you asked for it and keep screaming.....daddy has to distract you with other thing while mummy preparing it for you. This is mummy's first time preparing it for you, so a bit clumsy. We were wondering where we should feed you the rice cereal, so we wonder around and ta daaaa, i spotted the chair right in front of the bakery, so we sat there and had your lunch. You finish the whole bowl, then we went to Ah Kong's house. You behave well in the mall and very excited and happy!
When we reached Ah Kong's house, Ah Kong just about to leave the house to the computer fair. He turned back and play with you for a while. You fall asleep pretty fast as you must be very tired as mummy sees you sleep sweetly in your cradle. You are such a sweet baby!

I wanna go kai kai
Friday evening, on our way back to Ah Kong's house and we were trapped in usual Friday bad traffic jam, daddy suddenly asked you whether would you like to go Tesco again or not. Too bad, we can't go straight as mummy forgot to bring along ice pack and there is still a bottle of 8oz milk left over from this morning, so we have to go back straight to Ah Kong's house.
And guess what, little you, seems like you get the message "want to go Tesco" and you refused to sleep no matter how hard everyone try to make you sleep. While mummy expressing milk at upstairs, daddy rushed me and told me that we have to bring you out to Tesco else you will keep making noise. Quickly, mummy expressed milk then we headed to Tesco. This is your second time there. The first time, we went on 1st Aug where we bought your rice cereal and you were happily hold on to the rice cereal, you know it's your food, right? :)
First, we brought you to the toy section and you were fascinated by the toys, you touch every single toys that within your reachable distance. We even let you try on the ride on toy, you seems less interest on those, maybe you don't get to push the ride on yourself, so you haven't discover the fun yet. Daddy bought you a storage box to keep your toys and books. You seems very excited and you even helped us to push the shopping cart. You refused to let daddy carry you as you decided to torture mummy. Mummy has to carry you low so that you can hold on to the shopping cart bar and push it together with daddy. We stayed there for almost 1 hr then time to go back.
When we reached Ah Kong's house, your battery total flat, when we put you in cradle, less than 1 minute , you already in your ZZZzzland. You must be super tired and exhausted.
Lesson learn, NEVER and EVER promise or ask your kid for the sake of asking. After ask, must take action, else you will in trouble..hahaha

Pneumococcal jab
We've been delaying your pneumococcal jab for long time,so daddy and mummy decided to bring you to Adventost on Wednesday night for the jab. We reached the paed clinic around 7:30pm, and guess what...we were the first patient for Dr Tan. So you don't get to play with those toys at the waiting area.
Before giving you the injection, Dr Tan checked on you. And when mummy asked him how to read the growth chart that attached to your little bookelt, he told us that you were actually underweight and "underheight" based on the chart.
Ideal weight based on the chart for 9 mths baby : 9.5kg
Your weight : 8.7kg
Ideal height based on the chart for 9 mths baby: 72cm
Your height : 70cm
And he told mummy that i may need to consider to switch to formula milk once you turn to 1 yr old as the fat in mummy's milk is insufficient for you anymore. Daddy so worry and said will start to "window shop" for formula milk. Besides, mummy also get formula milk sample from Lynus's mum. But then...you had light fever after the jab, not sure it's me who passes the virus to you or it's due to injection so we will probably start giving you formula milk by next weekend. Today, no more fever. So i guess could be from the injection.

Our cute silent "little soldier"
This morning, when daddy and mummy busy preparing ourselves to work, suddenly both of us heard some noise coming from the room. Daddy rush into the room, and guess what...you wake up and you are crawling slowly and "blurly" towards your flash cards. Mummy had cold sweat, and thank god, early this week, daddy and mummy decided to move into our 3rd bedroom,and we put one doublebed and single bed side by side on the floor. I can't imagine if you are sleeping on our usual bed in the master bedroom and you wake up without our notice, start crawling...... i bet the next thing will be "thud" follow by loud cry!
You greeted both of you with your sweetest smile. Then, mummy brought you to our room and put you in your cot as mummy need to continue with my make up. And next thing i notice is, OMIGOSH, a mozzie bite on your face...sigh! I think the mozzie bite don't bother you at all, as you were busy playing with your bead roller coaster when mummy wipe your face for you.
When we were waiting for daddy at the apt lobby, you saw the guard riding bicycle towards us and you kept looking at his bicycle. Then, here comes the aunty who stay one floor under us. From far, i heard her calling you "Kelvinnnnn" happily. And this morning, you even shake hand with her "shyly", then you put your face close to mummy. Soooooooo Sweeeeeeeeet !
